Playing cards on Diwali is a long-standing tradition that carries special meaning. It's a way to bring good luck and wealth into our lives and a chance to have fun with family and friends.
In continuing our series of getting unique & and interesting artforms on our products,we present to you our card themed coasters.

Ganjifa’ card painting is an ancient art of India that is believed to have originated from Persia (present day Iran) during the Mughal Empire in the 16th century. ‘Ganjifa’ literally means "playing cards" or Ganjifeh in the Persian language. This miniature painting is done on card sheets, mostly circular or on playing card formats, and then lacquered.
The credit of revitalizing this beautiful art form (started in 1972) goes to HH Shivram Raje and his late wife, HH Satvasiladevi Bhonsale

The pursuit of preserving this legacy is being carried out in full faith by the new generation and of this prestigious Royal family based in Sindhudurg district of Maharashtra, India.

Through our products, we also endeavor to make a humble contribution towards preserving this legacy and taking it forward.

What an apt day to do this post on this day of Vasubaras marks the beginning of the celebration of Diwali festival.
On Vasubaras, the cow and her calf are worshiped. The cow holds a very sacred place in Vedic mythology. Referred to as "Gau Mata" ("mother cow"), she is worshiped and nurtured with the utmost.
