As we celebrate today, it made me look back and reflect on what a long journey it has been to even scratch the surface of journey to myself.
From being suicidal, depressed and perpetually anxious to learning to find my happiness in small things in Life.
Wish I had known, happiness is not something we need to achieve, it always is our true nature.
But then I also have learnt to forgive and love myself for things I didn't know along the way.
For the imperfections which led to heartbreak and helped me build myself back again.
Our perception of health is also what needs attention,what does it really mean to be healthy for you?
Is it having that fab glamorous body (and no issues if it is) or is it being able to sleep with peace and wakeup with clarity?
Let's us use this day to pause and reflect on all healthy habits....be it social,mental,physical or spiritual ❤️💫

Throwback to when my practise was strongest it has ever been...but I am referring to physical practise.
A big part of yoga was left aside as I focused on the physical limb of yoga.
Funnily enough, now as I grow a beautiful soul within me and my body is changing,my physical practise is a lot more compromised and altered.
Having said that,I feel the strongest and healthiest I have ever been.
I have been focusing on meditation, chanting and pranayama and it has enriched every corner of my being like never before.
Evidently this little being inside me is teaching me so much.
I can not wait to see what this chapter ahead awaits.
Thank you Universe for all these teachings on and off the mat.

Some of you have been asking me about my daily practice and how it has changed with growing pregnancy belly.
Honestly the essence remains the same...the breath and the stillness is here to stay.
Besides making few changes of excluding deep twists and core work, the roots of Ashtanga are still there.
Soon I will share a modified Ashtanga practice for pregnancy.
As it has helped me immensely stay focused and have faith in my body.
Here's a small time lapse of second half of my daily practice.
Although there are some days when my time on the mat mainly translates into chanting and breathing.
Everyday is unique and so is everyone's pregnancy.
Don't compare yours to anyone as each baby in the womb also comes with its unique needs and desires.
For me, this little one in my womb loves some daily rituals and practices❤
