The 3 bedroom house has been envisioned as a leisurely home using lime mortar, stabilised Adobe, laterite, wooden flat slab, wooden truss work, Mangalore tiles, araish and lohi.

We are holding open house for a week from April 29th ro May 5th.
Maximum 5 people a day

Daddaballapura mud house.
Project status - Ongoing
There is an old saying "Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder".
Mud is such a simple and gracious material that it's difficult to put its aesthetics into words. Its ability to blend with nature is simply incredible. The blue sky, the mountains, the tree with an abundance of green leaves and the tiny bushes and creepers with seasonal beautiful flowers. Similarly, Mud houses become an integral part of the surroundings, it's difficult to make out whether it was built or just evolved in nature.
As a sustainable firm, it is super amazing to be part of this eco-sensitive project.

Duplex CSEB house design in a gated community at mysore.
A court yard Residence for Mr kiran puravara
Total built up area - 1800 sqft
Plot size - 50ft'× 30'ft

In this project we work with a variety of natural materials. The client requirement was a CSEB structure in typical South Indian thotti mane style (court yard house).
In this east entrance house we have managed to give a spacious court yard, which one can overseas from the first floor. It gives a good amount of natural light and one can spend beautiful time during the monsoon showers around the courtyard.
Importance has been given to detailing the area in and around the courtyard, to bring the sense of openness within a small plot.
The sit out consists of monkey-top roofing placed on top of traditional pillars, which replicates the Mysuru context. Since the first floor is covered completely from the sloping roof, there is a common spacious balcony which can be used for multiple activities.

Hello all. Happy to share that our bunglow project has been featured by The Better India English and Hindi.

We have used vernacular construction and design to make this bunglow in a climate relevant way. Another speciality of this project is that the whole roof and wood works are made with reclaimed wood and tiles and all the masonry works are done with lime based mortar.

The design approach was very contextual to the requirements of the client, the integrity of the temple and the local
climate. The need of this project came up when the dilapidated ancestral house was demolished. The project had to recreate that vernacular ambience of client's ancestral home and be the epicenter of family ties. The design had to respect the confines of vaastu which became all the more important due to the presence of
temple.

The speciality of the house is that it is traditional even in its make. It was build with the traditional techniques developed since ages. The stone masonry foundation, the laterite masonry walls, the damp proof course all were laid in lime based mortar. The walls were plastered with lime plaster that keeps the temperature down even in hottest of coastal summers.

Other features of its make are
- Intermediate slab was made with reclaimed wooden beams and planks topped with bricks and finished with red-oxide. (All wood used are reclaimed fr demolished buildings)
- Sloping Mangalore tile roof made of reclaimed tiles
- Fixed furnitures finished with green and yellow oxides
