Ms Ishika Singh of Std X has been selected to participate in the State Level Painting Competition on Energy Conservation 2023. She got the invitation for the Competition cm Felicitation Function to be held at Mumbai. The competition is organised by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Ministry of Power, Government of India.

The Ministry of Power has launched the National Awareness Campaign in order to promote energy conservation in the country. Painting competition for students at the School, State and at National level has been included as one of the activities of the campaign, which would not only make aware the children about the need of conserving energy but at the same time would educate and involve their parents as well in the above cause.

MISS SPARKLING EYES
Ms.Rhea Paikane of St. Xavier's High School MIDC Branch studying in Std IV was crowned as Miss Sparkling Eyes. She won the crown after clearing series of rounds that tested her Grace, knowledge, intelligence and presence of mind. She was felicitated with the hands of Miss Asia. Around 45 schools of Nagpur participated in this Mega event. The event was organized by "Swasthya Vriksha Foundation".

International Tiger Day is celebrated on 29 of July 2023 annually. To extend support towards this mission, under Respected Chairman Sir Dr A.F. Pinto vision ‘Environment’ and to commemorate the 13 th International Tiger Day’ and to promote awareness about tiger conservation an assembly was conducted by the students of St. Xavier’s High School MIDC on 31/07/2023 . under the guidance of kids for tigers ,Teacher Incharges Mrs Mamta Mishra and Mrs Reema Moitra

The special day began with a Lord’s Prayer,Scripture Reading and Special Prayer .Students mesmerised everyone with a thoughtful skit revealing the plight of our national animal

Students shared facts, essential information regarding the protection of the natural habitats of tigers and mesmerized everyone with an energetic Street play and Tiger dance ,to promote awareness about conservation and expansion of wild tiger habitats, Thereafter, Tiger Ambassador Mrunalini Borkar of std IX reminded everyone to take a pledge to save tigers.

The assembly culminated with the addressing of Chief Guest of the day Mrs Ekta Bhaiya

Principal Ms. Ashlesha Parkhi and Administrator Dr.Nish*t Vijayan appreciated the commendable efforts of the students and urged them to stop using leather products and become responsible for the environment and make this world a better place to live for all living beings.

It was indeed a thought-provoking assembly for all of us to control our actions and always remember that “Earth was created for all life, not just human life.”

Students from VI to X th also participated in various activities which was conducted like Rangoli Making,Poster and Slogan Writing,Hand Painting, Stone and Fabric Painting last but not the least Essay Writing on 'save tigers, save wildlife, protect nature'.

Inter School Competitions were organized by 'Kids for Tiger' and 'VR Nagpur' on the occasion of Global Tiger Day on 29/07/2023.
Little ones gave us a message in their own creative way of Poster making, Face Painting and wearing Fancy Dresses themed Save Tiger to "SAVE TIGERS".

She is qualified to participate in the National Financial Literacy Quiz on 30th July 2023.

A slide show on Kargil War was organized by Prahar - Social Awareness Organization on 24/07/2023. Prahar Samaj Jagruti Sanstha is an organization which works towards building soldierly mindset in the society by imbibing soldierly qualities and transforming the youth for nation building.

The Kargil war is one of the most recent examples of high-altitude warfare in mountainous terrain, which was fought between India and Pakistan. During this war, the whole country was united. Everybody wanted to do something that would contribute to the war. The patriotic fervour was at the peak. There was lot of inquisitiveness amongst the countrymen as to how this war was fought. Playing a part to this curiosity, Prahar decided to showcase the nuances of the war through a light and sound show format to the masses.

The show highlighted the saga of valour and sacrifice displayed by the Indian Armed Forces. It also explained, how the armed forces work - 'day in day out' keeping the interest of the country first. It also aimed at making every Indian proud of the Indian Armed Forces.

St. Xavier's High School, MIDC, Nagpur , under 'My School - My City' organised a field trip to Mahindra and Mahindra Automobile company, .Under the guidance of Mrs Mamta Mishra with sheer guidance from Honourable Mr. Yogesh Shukla Sir and Mr. Sanjay Agrawal Sir on 22/07/2023 with great zeal to learn more about mechanism.

Under the vision of our Honourable Chairman Sir "Entrepreneurship", students were taught about consistency, teamwork, determination, improvement and productivity in a successful company like Mahindra.

Students from grade IXth were given this opportunity to know more about professional life and to open doors for career opportunities in future.

Students were welcome whole heatedly there and observed a wonderful happy work place environment. A great interaction session with Honourable Mr. Yogesh and Sanjay Sir was put forward along with the students, in which various creative ideas and questions emerged in many brains.

Students were introduced to many factory machines and tools. Virtual Reality was also introduced to them, in order to implement more usage of technology and advancement today.

Students were also taught the true meaning of "good human being, good society", as it is their vision to create an efficient system for everyone, especially farmers.

We believe in all round awareness and development of students. our Montessori students went on a field trip to D. B. Mart as part of extended learning on “Food we eat”. Our students identified healthy and unhealthy food enthusiastically.

St. Xavier's High school, MIDC, Nagpur , under My school, My city celebrated Environment week with SIR Vikas Thakre on 10/07/2023 with great enthusiasm.

Under the vision of Respected Chairman Sir 'Each one, plant one' the students were exicted to implement the vision.

An emerging practical activity to spread awareness and efforts for the environment this week was organised, under the guidance of Administrator Sir Dr Nish*t Vijayan and Principal Mrs Ashlesha Parkhi Miss , where the students of class IX led by My school , My city , incharge Teacher Ms. Mamta Mishra , where the students participated very enthusiastically. The students marched holding placards in their hands and began to spread awareness regarding pollution free environment and tree filled life and shouted from the bottom of their lungs to tell all the people about how vital it is to save nature! A tree plantation drive was organised under the supervision and support of Mr Vikas Thakre sir and students presented a thank you note and a sapling to Mr Vikas Thakre sir for his time and attention towards such an concerning topic

Mr Vikas Thakre appreciated the efforts which were taken by the students and encouraged us to save the environment and nature!

Students were made aware about how it is important to save the environment and how small steps makes an huge difference in our lives.

An emerging practical activity, to spread awareness and efforts for the enviroment in this week, was organised under the school staff.

The extreme delight and excitement rushed within the xavierites from MIDC, as they were ready to yet begin the first activity for the MY SCHOOL MY CITY club, initiated by the St.Xaviers High School, promoting deep awareness about how every human is born to cherish mother nature.
Making posters, banners, and slogans were some of the activities done.
Students began to spread awareness regarding pollution free environment and tree filled life and shouted from the bottom of their lungs to tell all the people about how vital it is to save nature!
As the Club members arrived, they were greeted with warmth and love and outstanding treatment was given to the staff
Students had an interaction with Honorable Mr. Vikas Thakre Sir who stands as a confident figurine for them, and planted several saplings including Neem, Rose, Tulsi,Curry leaves etc., to showcase their efforts towards nature.
Students also proposed their warm gratitude towards him and told the school management 's contributions towards the environment.
As the event was over, students were greeted with love and encouragement for the future endeavours.
