The Nagpur chapter of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India proposes to conduct its PROFESSIONAL INDUCTION PROGRAM (PIP) for its students on 3rd and 4th of October, 2015.

Below are the brief particulars.

Applicability of the course:

Every Executive passed student pursuing the Company Secretaryship course.

Criteria for undergoing:

Students can complete within three months of passing the executive program or
Within two months of commencement of their 15 months/ one year/ two year training, which ever is earlier, if,
any student is already undergoing training on the date of passing the executive program, in such case two months criteria is not applicable to him/her.

The venue, proposed coverage of the topics, fees and the registration forms shall be announced at the earliest and also be updated at the official site of the nagpur chapter.

A brief impact of the amendment:

By this second amendment i.e. through The Companies (Acceptance of Deposits) Second Amendment Rules, 2015, it points out that:

I) In the Companies (Acceptance of Deposits) Rules, 2014 , in rule 2, in sub-rule (1), in clause (c), for sub-clause (viii), the following shall be substituted, namely:-

"(viii) any amount received from a Peron who, at the time of the receipt of the amount, was a director of the company or a relative of the director of the Private company:

Provided that the director of the company or relative of the director of the private company, as the case may be, from whom money is received, furnishes to the company at the time of giving the money, a declaration in writing to the effect that the amount is not being given out of funds acquired by him by borrowing or accepting loans or deposits from others and the company shall disclose the details of money so accepted in the Board's report"

IMPACT: BY INSERTION OF THE RELATIVES OF DIRECTORS IN THIS PROVISION & THE PROVISO A RELIEF TO ALL THE PRIVATE COMPANIES IN CASE THEY HAVE OR PROPOSE TO TAKE LOAN FROM THEIR RELATIVES

II) In the said rules, in rule 3, -

(a) for the words "paid-up share capital and free reserves", wherever they occur, the words "Paid-up share capital, free reserves and securities premium account" shall be substituted;

IMPACT: NOW FOR COMPUTATION OF THE ACCEPTABLE LIMIT OF THE DEPOSITS SECURITIES PREMIUM ACCOUNT SHALL ALSO BE CONSIDERED.

III) In the said rules, in rule 3(b) in sub-rule (8), in the Table, for item (e) and entries relating thereto the following shall be substituted, namely

(e) Brickwork Ratings India Pvt Ltd (Brickwork) BWR FBBB.
