These babies who were left stranded on the road when their mother was badly crushed under a speeding vehicle are not left motherless and homeless don’t you can’t even imagine the shock they are in.
They are around 2 minths old and healthy, people with past experience with pets can surely apply to adopt these bundle of mischief.

Yesterday we celebrated our 75th Independence Day…
75 years of breathing free in our own India. Feels like a blessing isn’t it.
But then when are our fellow humans going to learn the harsh reality that every life matters and that once we adopt a life it’s our responsibility to do justice to them till their last!
You all must be wondering why are we saying all this? We are saying this because as much as we are happy celebrating our freedom the more it pains us when our fellow humans abandon their pets for all the weirdest of reasons..
Here are the pitures of the 5 Labrador’s abandoned on the streets or in front of our shelter gate .. now when are these innocent souls going to get independence from injustice?

That was proved with this cat rescue who was rescued from the streets with a big cut in the abdomen , which could have worsened with time if it had gone unoticed ..
at such time we feel so thankful to the complainant for being so proactive and responsible..

So here are some of the faces who were once someone’s most loved pet, but feelings changed when they realised that they are not toys to play but responsibility for the next 15 years.
Almost every day we sharan for animals receives calls from pet parents, who want to "donate" their dog/cat to us... meaning they want to give their pet away. This could be due to a number of reasons such as family pressure, apartment/landlord not allowing, transferring cities and so on.
When we deny their request they tie the animal to the gate of our shelter at night, or worse abandon them on the road. There is absolutely nothing in the world that can justify abandoning a pet dog/cat.

In order to prevent pet abandoning the best thing to do is Spending time volunteering at our shelter to serve our four-legged and winged friends instead of
buying/adopting a pet. The average lifespan of a pedigree dog/cat is between 8-12 years so if you cannot commit to taking care of
them well during his or her lifetime.
PLEASE DO NOT BUY/ADOPT just because your children’s want someone to play with i till they’re bored. Animals have emotions too they too suffer from depression when abandoned.

Finally the weight is off her back..
On 16th may we had posted about a old dog who had come with multiple illness, and after her fighting all the odds yesterday she underwent her last major surgery for her tumor.
Since she was weak for this surgery we had to wait for her to gain weight health and strength to undergo this surgery so it took a while, but the fighter that she is, she overcomed all the odds and hurdles like a pro and here she is on her way to lead a peaceful and painless old life.

So here is a happy update on our angry young man Jonny we had pisted about him being abandoned last week with a sever maggoted wound on his back last week.
He is healing wonderfully though hasn’t recovered fully from the trauma and abuse he went thru.
He will take a week more to recover and then we will be looking for a loving family for him. The terms abs cindiyfor his adoption will be mentioned in the post for his adoption later.
Now we just wanted to make your Friday happy.

How painful it might be to be suffering from a Tumor, be in immense pain yet not get love and care from anyone!
That is how the life’s of our indie dogs go in the streets here. We rescued this boy with a tumor in the ear. The tumor had become big enough to cause terrible pain to him since his ear flaps are sofa and hang without any support.
Yet our courageous boy was strong enough to fight his own battles until a passerby noticed him and asked us to help him.
After rescue our doctors decided that he needed surgery immediately if we had to save his life.
After the surgery our boy is recovering well but needs your support to recover fully.
