This clay-like substance, very commonly used by the Physiotherapist is known as, "THERA-PUTTY".

It comes in different colours like
Blue, green, black, yellow, Orange and skin.

Well it's not for the aesthetics of it, every colour of Thera-Putty represents a different resistance level.

Starting from the least resistance to maximum resistance the color coding goes as follows:
1)Tan/Skin
2) Yellow
3)Red
4) Green
5)Blue
6)Black

Usage-
1)To train Grip strength
2)To train individual finger muscles
3)To train intrinsic muscles of the hand.
4)Texture training in Neurological Conditions.

The month of May is celebrated as "STROKE" awareness month.
Stroke is a serious condition, where acting fast is the key to making full recovery.
So it is of paramount importance that we are aware about the signs and Symptoms of stroke.
An attack of stroke usually follows this pattern-
1)The person first feels weakness of the face, might feel the face dropping to one side, might experience difficulty in speaking.
2)Next they might complaint of feeling heavy in the limbs, they might also ask for support or be unable to maintain there balance.
3)Next you will observe makes slurring of the speech.

So the moment you notice any of the above stated signs ...
Pick up the phone and call the Ambulance.

As there is a Golden Window period of 4.5 hours from the onset of Symptom.
Which facilitates the maximum scope of recovery.

So in case of Stroke act FAST!
