After checking into the lovely Stone Hedge Hotel in Nubra, the guests visited the Diskit Gompa to see the famous 106 ft tall Maitreya Buddha statue. Their last halt for the day was to see the double-humped Mongolian Bactrian camels at the Hunder Dunes.

After spending the first two days in Leh for acclimatization and local sightseeing, guests were treated to a traditional Ladakhi dance performance in the evening.
