Acne is a big menace and an often touted ill advice is to give up dairy to clear skin. Not all experts and studies agree that milk is involved in acne, though, and not everyone who drinks a lot of milk breaks out in pimples, of course.
Some evidence shows that milk causes acne while other studies suggest people who drink more milk tend to have worse acne. Those are associations, though, and not proof.

One should remember to connect with an expert and test for potential problems before giving up on milk as it is one of the major sources of calcium in our diet.
Many other issues such as hormonal imbalances, clogged pores, pollution or food irritants can be causing the acne. Not only will quitting milk unnecessarily not help you, it can keep making acne worse since the potential cause is not diagnosed.
