Hariyali Teej decoration at Giri Govardhan Dhaam..

Hariyali Teej is a seasonal festival popular in North India. It is celebrated on the 3rd day of the dark fortnight of Shravan month. Due to Monsoon rains, Nature becomes green, hence the term hariyali.

Culturally, the ladies get dressed up in Green clothes and swings are hanged on the trees.

Last Saturday. HG Vijay Keshav Prabhu visited our center and gave a class on Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 15, Purushottam Yoga, Verses 12-15.
Later devotees also offered Lamps to the Lord along with ecstatic kirtan.
