Poem and Elocution Competition
A Poem and elocution competition was held today. Students presented poems and speeches with a patriotic mood. They also delivered speeches to show their knowledge. The performances were extremely graceful and attractive. Everyone enjoyed the program and appreciated it a lot.

What is elocution? It's all about speaking clearly. It's quite a dated term, that many people associate with a certain way of speaking, called Received Pronunciation - neutral or slightly posher English.

But we think good elocution is so much more than this. It's not about your accent, it's more about how good a communicator you are.
