Greetings!

This year’s theme of our conference is ‘salus populi suprema lex esto‘ which means ‘let the good of the people be the supreme law.’ We believe that in order to bring peace, equality, and stability in this rapidly changing world, we need to effectively use the tool of law to advocate justice and welfare for all.

When there is debate, there is a high possibility of solutions. On the other hand when there is no sharing of power, no rule of law and no accountability, there is abuse, corruption, subjugation and indignation.
The agendas for the third edition of the LVISMUN are chosen to highlight the power of law and effective advocacy to make our world better for the global community.

The agendas for the conventional committees are as follows-

1. United Nations General Assembly (Double Delegation)
AGENDA: Establishing an International Framework Governing Extradition Policies.

2. United Nations Human Rights Council
AGENDA: Addressing the Issue of Environmental Refugees, with Special Emphasis on According Legal Recognition of Such People.

3. United Nations Security Council
AGENDA: Discussing Balochistan with Special Emphasis on the Baloch Demand for Statehood.

The agendas for the unconventional committees are as follows-

1. International Court of Justice
AGENDA: Jadhav Case (India v. Pakistan)

2. International Criminal Court Assembly of State Parties
AGENDA: Reviewing Article 6 and Article 7(3) of the Rome statute of the International Criminal Court in Light of Gender Related Crimes.

3. Lok Sabha
AGENDA: Reviewing Indian Criminal Law and Procedure in Light of the Growing Number of Cases of Sexual Crimes.

We look forward to your zealous participation.
