Canyoning in Meghalaya

Less than 30 kilometres from Shillong, lies a place called Laitlum. Laitlum's literal translation means 'End Of Hill'.

A Dive on a winding road Fromm Shilong passing by Smit village, reaching to the edge of this East Khasi Hills tableland, soak into the mesmerising Meghalaya highlands dotted with deep gorges & waterfalls especially during monsoon season.

If you have time, stamina and bravery, a narrow trail with stone steps hugs the cliff to trek down to the village of Rosang at the foothills.

Smit is famous for the vibrant Nongkrem dance festival that takes place every year—usually in November—to honour the powerful goddess Ka Blei Synshar for a successful harvest and general prosperity of the people.

Lakshadweep - The New IN Island

Lakhsadweep, group of gorgeous 36 islands - only 10 of them inhabited - are postcard perfect. Nuturing abundance of marine life, the islands are worthy a visit from every adventure enthusiast.

In the waters off the islands, divers can spot manta rays, colourful corals and schools of fish, and maybe even a green or hawksbill turtle. The waters off southernmost Minicoy might be of special interest to divers who’d happily mull over history even while underwater—the island’s blue expanse is the site of wrecks of German steamships. It is a rare sight, how the coral and seaweed-wrapped propellers, boilers, and other machinery cradle some of Lakshadweep’s loveliest sea creatures.

Kashmir & beyond - ‘Water trek’

No one goes to Kashmir & returns without taking a shikara ride on Dal Lake. How about going a step further and doing water trekking there. A term coined by the Kashmiris for this new adventure.

From the month of April to October, 04 night expeditions are organised by shikara that will take you beyond Dal Lake, into the lakes of Manasbal, Wular, Nigeen and some in districts outside Srinagar. You’ll be accompanied by a guide & cook. Camp every night beside a new lake, and experience the state as a local sees it best.

While 'trekking on water' you would witness the beautiful Nigeen Lake which is flanked by willow & poplar trees. Wular Lake, Asia's target freshwater lake which is home to many beautiful birds and fishes. Reach Manasbal lake Jhelum river, a sight to behold in summers when it is covered with lotus blooms all around.
