*दक्षिण या पूरब दिशा में सिर करके क्यों सोते हैं*

धर्म शास्त्रों और ज्योतिष के मुताबिक, दक्षिण या पूर्व दिशा सिर करने सोने की हिदायत दी गई है। इस दिशा में पैर करने सोने से शारीरिक और मानसिक क्षरण होने की बात कई जाती है। आओ जानते हैं कि दक्षिण या पूर्व दिशा में सिर करके क्यों सोते हैं?

*दक्षिण दिशा में सिर करके क्यों सोते हैं?*
दक्षिण दिशा में पैर करके सोने से हानि, स्मृति भ्रम, मृत्यु और रोग का भय रहता है। दक्षिण दिशा में यम और दुष्ट देवों का निवास रहता है। मस्तिष्क में रक्त का संचार कम को जाता है और कान में हवा भरती है। इसीलिए दक्षिण दिशा में सिर करके सोना चाहिए।

धर्मशास्त्रों के अनुसार सोते समय सिर दक्षिण में होना चाहिए। दरअसल, पृथ्वी के दोनों ध्रुवों उत्तरी (North pole) तथा दक्षिण ध्रुव (South pole) में चुम्बकीय प्रवाह (Magnetic flow) होता है। उत्तरी ध्रुव पर धनात्मक (+) प्रवाह तथा दक्षिणी ध्रुव पर ऋणात्मक (-) प्रवाह होता है। उसी तरह मानव शरीर में भी सिर में धनात्मक (+) प्रवाह तथा पैरों में ऋणात्मक (-) प्रवाह होता है। विज्ञान के अनुसार दो धनात्मक (+) ध्रुव या दो ऋणात्मक (-) ध्रुव एक दूसरे से दूर भागते हैं। अत: यदि आप दक्षिण में पैर करके सोते हैं तो आपके स्वास्थ्य के लिए यह हानिकारक साबित होता है।

*पूर्व दिशा में सिर करके क्यों सोते हैं?*
संपूर्ण जीवन पूर्व से पश्चिम की ओर बह रहा है। सूर्य पूर्व से उदय होकर पश्चिम में अस्त होता है। उर्जा की इस धारा के विपरीत प्रवाह में सोना अच्छा नहीं अर्थात पूर्व की ओर पैर करने सोना अच्छा नहीं माना जाता। दूसरी ओर ऐसा करने से सूर्य देव का अपमान होता है। ज्योतिषानुसार सूर्य देव की ओर सिर करने सोने से मानसिक और स्वास्थ्य लाभ मिलता है।...
