Last week was such great fun. We sucessfully wrapped up our Teens Sustainability Changemakers Program with 35+ highly motivated kids joining us for the program from across India. It was heartening to see the enthusiasm and inquistiveness of these kids and we were happy to provide them with a platform to gain a pespective on Sustainability that is beyond just activism.
Special thanks to Mihir Rambhia from University of Melbourne and Maithili Deena from CoirPlus for their insightful sessions on Higher Education opportunities in Sustainability & Green Entrepreneurship respectively.
We also had a special session by Teenspiration Haaziq Kazi who shared his journey of building Ervis, a ship that can suck 100 tonnes of plastic waste from large water bodies.
Provided with the necessary skills and opportunities needed to reach their potential, young people can be active changemakers for sustainable development and contributing to a better future for everyone. We look forward to host more such programs as a step in this direction.

Wondering what to do with all the milk packets that accumulate in your house? Here is an upcycling idea by Garima to turn them into door mats!
Dairy packaging contributes to almost 30% of branded plastic waste in our National capital and the same is true for many other cities as well. They are also a leading contributor to microplastics pollution, clogging if water bodies and are even ingested by marine organisms. Let's divert them from the landfill, shall we?
Ofcourse, the best option is to buy milk without packaging, if that's available :)
