The National Commission of Women (NCW) in collaboration with V M Salgaocar College of Law to organised a day-long seminar on May 3rd, 2024 titled:

RISE AND LEAD: YOUNG WOMEN PIONEERING TECHNOLOGY, BUSINESS AND PUBLIC LIFE

Students, faculty, and experts, attended the event focused on women empowerment and gender equality.

Dr Sandhya Ram spoke on "Rewriting Gender Conversations: Legal Perspectives" at the National Conference on "GENDER WRITES."

Jointly organised by Department of English, Vidya Prabhodini College and Goa State Commission for Women and Directorate of Higher Education.

Asst. Prof. Ameya A Nayak conducted two sessions as part of a Certification Course on Drafting Skills, titled -
1. Drafting of complaint under S. 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act for dishonor of cheque, and
2. Drafting of applications for Bail and Anticipatory Bail under S. 436 and 438 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.
Sessions were conducted on 22nd March and 28th March 2024.

National Level seminar on the Rights of Elderly Citizens witnessed large participation from VMSCL faculty members and students. The seminar was organised by Manohar Parrikar School Of Law on 27/3/2024 at Goa university

ASSOCHAM led National IP Yatra for Goa witnessed Dr. Shaber Ali, Principal VMSCL, conducting workshop on "Property and its importance: Subject matter of IPR, changing dimensions."

This two day workshop saw technical sessions from various experts from the domain of Intellectual Property Rights. It organised by ASSOCHAM in association with the Ministry Of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, Government of India, and AIPFC.
