However, we would like to throw some light on the incident that took place in the slum during the distribution drive. Members and volunteers were shocked to see unruly behavior and faced numerous difficulties in maintaining order. Adults in the slum encouraged children to 'loot' not allowing our members to distribute food and clothes to all members of the community. We hope this doesn't happen next time as the trust will continue to organize drives and events, as motivated as ever.

Members of Vishuddhi Charitable Trust organized a clothes and food distribution drive in October in a slum in Patna. It was a humbling as well as a wholesome experience to see faces of children and adults light up during the auspicious and festive occasion of Diwali. We hope to continue our efforts and increase the scale of these drives in the future.

Team Vishuddhi conducted a book distribution drive on 7th February 2021. This is the second drive our organization has organized this month.
This drive also allowed us to gain insight into what children really needed and their eagerness to learn and study has further inspired us to continue our efforts and hopefully bring a smile to many more around the city.

Spreading Warmth with our 'Blanket Distribution Drive'
As winter has set in, Vishuddhi Organisation held a blanket distribution drive in Nayatola, Patna to help the needy survive the cold. We continue to work towards our goal of 'inclusion' and help those who're struggling to make ends meet during such unprecedented times. We encourage everyone privileged enough to participate in our distribution drives and in the future, we hope to continue to extend a helping hand to all those in need.

TEAM VISHUDDHI UPDATES:
-Book Distribution Drive at Ram Krishna Mission Aashram Patna, Patna.
The team distributed books, notebooks, stationery, and other essential study items to underprivileged students. Mrs. Rakhi Kumari Gupta, Dr. Urmilla Singh, Dr. Sitasaran Singh, and Mr. Ishaan Agarwal along with other members also distributed essay books to further support the students. Our team aspires to organize bi-annual book distribution drives for students who canтАЩt afford an effective education. We believe in bridging the gap between those who canтАЩt afford books and those who are privileged enough to have books lying on shelves collecting dust is essential. We aim to inculcate effective study habits like reading amongst underprivileged students and hope we can make a meaningful difference in their lives and society as a whole.
-Foodgrains, face masks, sanitizers, and other essentials distribution. Over the past few weeks, the team has held several such drives to the locals in Patna. We hope to motivate others to join our efforts in these uncertain and unprecedented times.

Proper-waste segregation, solid waste management and clean-up projects are at the forefront of Vishuddhi's focus. Recently, Team Vishuddhi initiated a clean-up drive at Ward no. 41, Naya Tola, Bari Path, Patna.
The collected waste included everything from plastics and dried leaves to clinical and biohazardous waste. We thank the Patna Municipal Corporation who further aided Team VishuddhiтАЩs effort by sweeping, cleaning and removing mud and soiled pits. Additionally, they replaced the dumpster with plants and helped the area on its path to becoming a green zone.
We aspire to organize numerous clean-up projects in the future and move towards a cleaner India, a greener India.
