The Academic and Debating Committee of Chanakya National Law University, Patna is delighted to present to you the XIVth CNLU NATIONAL PARLIAMENTARY DEBATE from 22nd September to 24th September, 2023.

Continuing the legacy of our grand offline debating, and furthering our commitment to promote the sport with the help of our dedicated team of organisers and volunteers, we bring this edition to you in the offline format. That is, the XIVth shall be held physically on the campus of CNLU, Patna.

The tournament shall be held in the 3 v 3 Asian Parliamentary Debate (APD) format and the high prize money at stake is as tempting as ever. This shall be an OPEN tournament, that is people who have completed their Undergraduate and Post-Graduate studies or are not affiliated to any institution are also eligible to participate. Further, Cross teams comprising of members from multiple/different institutions are also welcome.

Like previous edition, this year too we have a brilliant Core Adjudication Panel which promises you an exciting, challenging and unique experience.

The Registration fee shall be INR 2500 per person for Debaters and Adjudicators, independent and/or institutional. The registration fee shall be inclusive of providing accommodation and food for 3 days to all the participants along with our LEGENDARY BREAK NIGHT.

Presenting to you, our Joint Covenor, Varnik Kundaliya.

The man who started at the school front, has also been climbing the ladder of success in the field of national and international debating and adjudication. He is a weeb by profession and an orator at heart who feels humor is the spice of life.

Varnik has not only been an integral part of the ADC eversince he joined the college, but has also been in the organizing committee of about half a dozen national parliamentary debates. It certainly wouldn't be an overstatement to say that he's the back bone of the PDs at CNLU. He firmly believes that debates are not only an intellectual tool of expression, but also happen to be a great incentive for improving one's comprehensive power.

Everyone at CNLU knows whom to contact at any given point of time if one needs help with debating ,or want a sound feedback, be a brilliant whip or just want some good anime or a 420 playlist. The doors of heaven might be shut for you but the room no 245 shall always remain open for everyone(FOR ALL YOUR REQUIREMENTS).
So if you spot a man donning a Rick and Morty tshirt on a silent electric scooter, do remember to smile and have few words with him because he is the sickest *stuff* outta Dehradun.

Adding to our wonderful tab team, we present to you our Tab Director -Gazi Wasib Huda Umid.

If there is one word which can define him, it is "growth". The way he has grown in his debating career from a debater in paradox to an Adjudicator and then core adj and then finally the UADC, UHURU and almost all the known debating tournaments in India and abroad.
He is this one man with whom you need not put filters while talking.
He has best of the techniques to utilise the preparation time to its most and along with that he will crack some PJs while preparing. one of the best quality of him is that you just put the ideas on the table and he'll make sure that it is executed well.
A leader that he is, the amount of responsibility he takes over himself, be it debsoc sessions post classes or the CNLU PD is inspiring for the entire team.
Organising two tournaments, one APD and one BPD in one academic session at a span of less than 5 months could have been a dream without this guy.
We dreamt it and he drove us to making it happen.

More often than not, you will find him either chilling at the nescafe or sitting at the corner seat in the library and little would you know that this man while chilling has already done half of the things himself.
This man will have jokes, gossips and secrets all at the same time. You just need to be wise to know him well.
