Our doctors from District Hospital Poonch are holding a press conference every day instead, they should have tried to unravel the existing health conditions of the Hospital. I am not raising finger at anyone but I am sure some suspicious things are going on. Let me be clear that I am not the one who closes my eyes and retain my mouth shut. I will go to an extreme extent and expose those who are the culprits.

Let me give an account of the Existing Health care system of District Poonch. It is Encompassed by the Line of Control (LoC) on various sides, district Poonch is 250 kilometres away from Jammu and around 170 kilometres from Srinagar. There are total sanctioned posts of consultants doctors are 27 at District Poonch but we have only 13 consultants present here. Furthermore, the total number of sanctioned posts of medical officers is 33 and we have only 16 Medical Officers. The total sanctioned posts of doctors are 247 and we have merely 144 Doctors present here in District Poonch.

Raja Sukhdev Singh hospital is named as a referral hospital due to the shortage of doctors, paramedical staff, technicians, and equipment. We are lacking behind the doctor-patient ratio as recommended by WHO.

We don't have any ophthalmologists, anesthesiologists, Dermatologists, Radiologists and ENT doctors in our district hospital let me tell you on record some specialist doctors are presently working in the hospital. Standing by given the prerequisite of consultant Anaesthesia, the Secretary to Government Health and Medical Education Department Bhupinder Kumar had issued an order of transfer and posting on 21-09-2022, wherein Dr Sanam Kassan, consultant Anaesthesia was transferred from GMC Jammu to DH Poonch likewise Dr Javeed Akhtar Manhas consultant Anaesthesia was transferred from CHC Sohanjana and posted at DH Poonch but both didn’t join their duties.

The district hospital, which caters to more than four lakh people holds a rather controversial reputation. Known for its dilapidated condition, the place has left the locals dissatisfied with numerous cases of negligence every year.

Most of the slightly complicated cases are referred to Jammu and Srinagar because our district and sub-district hospitals lack adequate medical facilities like CT-MRI scans. How does one hope for a patient’s survival when sent off on a journey of 7 or 8 hours?

Talking about the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) ward in the hospital that has been fibbing locked due to the non-availability of a consultant Anaesthesia due to which many patients have been suffering a lot as the anaesthesia doctors, who were posted in September, have not joined yet.

Now the important question that arises is, why don’t we have specialist centres and specialised doctors that can cater to these cases? The district hospital Poonch has four specialist centres, there are no centres for endocrinology, nephrology, or neurology. For seeking any super speciality like cardiac, nephrology, urology, neurology, chest disease, plastic surgery or endocrinology, these people have to travel to Jammu which is nearly 250kms from Poonch city.

This border District faces different challenges like falls from the hills, man-animal conflicts, cross-border aggressions and road traffic accidents among other important health-related problems.

Healthcare System is not sufficient and systematic here, Regardless of this we as a community have failed as well by remaining silent. until when we can watch this as mute spectators. These are not just Allegations against the health system in Poonch. Someone rightly said Ashes come from where there is fire. Higher authorities should intervene and scrutinize the whole matter. Ministry of youth affairs and Sports have decided to launch a Nationwide month-long clean India 2.0 campaign from Ist October to 31st October 2022. Which aims at collecting one crore kg of waste mainly single-use of plastics to be disposed off with the support and voluntary participation of citizens in the spirit of Jan Bhagidari.

Clean India 2.0 was launched and organised today by Nehru Yuva Kendra Poonch. It is an honour for me to be a part of this campaign as the rally was flagged off by me.

The objective of this mission as the name suggests is to clean India. The Clean India campaign focuses on sanitation and hygiene in all parts of the country.

We have to remember that maintaining cleanliness is not just for a day, a fortnight, a year or for a few people, it is a mega campaign for every day, every fortnight, every year, for everyone and a continuous programme from one generation to another. Cleanliness is a lifestyle, cleanliness is a life mantra.

The daughter has always risen to ride India and give a new direction to the country. With the changing of times, daughters have raised the flag of the country from the earth to the universe. With hard work, creative thinking and passion to do something new, the daughters of the country have chosen the height in every field.

Profoundly anguished by the news of multiple casualties in the Sawjian Poonch bus accident. My deepest condolence to the families who have lost their dearest ones in this incident. I pray for the speedy recovery of the injured. May the soul of the deceased rest in peace and May Allah grant strength to the families for their irreparable loss.

I don't understand one thing why people are not talking about government teachers, I am not against anyone, some are doing tremendously well, but in reality, some people do not want to go further to serve and teach because they know how to get out or stay away from this reality, to be honest, this is their duty because the government paid a generous amount of money for them to teach the students. Teachers are the ones who shape the future of the country. If they have health problems, let's consider it as they are the ones who said that, they do not want to attend a remote school because they are not a healthy fit for this profession. They should choose early retirement and give a chance to capable people. We have always raised questions about their performance if they are skilled enough they can go anywhere but what we have seen is that they go to higher up approaches them and get their attachment in their nearest school. This is the height of insensibility. Everyone should speak up against these teachers. Some have a medical problem let's accept it but others just protect themselves from a mythical medical leave and briefly, they knew the loophole of this system. I drafted these teachers and I am sure they will all be terminated or retire soon. I request all the people to please put forward and speak the truth and help me. I will not tolerate the indelicacy they are playing with the lives of poor and innocent children.

Eid-ul-Adha teaches us to share and to help those who are helpless. May sharing and caring become important components of our life to make Allah happy. It is the day to mend all broken ties and establish a relationship of love and compassion with everyone. May the door of this Eid illuminate our hearts and mind. Eid-ul-Adha Mubarak!

Life is called colourful because it shows us many colours. Life teaches us to laugh and cry sometimes. Sometimes we are very happy and sometimes we are very disappointed. Sometimes it happens that even after working hard, we do not get what we deserve.

Even after encountering many ups and downs in life and even after keeping the blood and sweat together, we do not get the destination, we called it life and this is how it is going on. Don't take tension, be happy and keep doing hard work, one day you will get success.

Never give up. This is for all those people who get disheartened after trying their best to achieve their dreams.

Salma Agha is a Class 12th Topper from District Poonch who secured 3rd Rank In Jammu Division. Many congratulations to her and everyone who passed their exams with flying colours. She proves that Education is the credentials to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.

Why am I always in favour of girls’ education because Education is the key for girls to attain economic independence? Although women in the majority of countries have the right to an education, Alas! equal access to education for women remains a problem including in our country and in our district Poonch as well I have seen many examples of that.

I have seen many girls who want to complete their education in our district but only a few of them got this opportunity, millions of girls do not complete school because they are compelled (by their society, by their circumstances) to focus on household, caregiving and child-rearing responsibilities.

For all the girls who are struggling to access education, and for those who want to end educational inequality, I hope girls like Salma and many others inspire you to make a change!

I want to wrap up this post with this simple example
Imagine that we’re in a sports centre. And if you have a team and you don’t let half of the team play. That’s stupid. That makes no sense. And the evidence indicates that communities that give their daughters the same opportunities as their sons are more peaceful, more prosperous, develop faster, they are more likely to succeed.

To all the little girls who are reading this, never doubt yourself. You are valuable and powerful, and deserving of every chance and opportunity in the world to pursue and achieve your dreams.

The bulldozing machines-the new symbols of brute state power are not just demolishing houses and shops but also bulldozing rule of law and our constitutional system. Bulldozer culture is a bizarre manifestation of uncontrolled power.
Is the Indian Judiciary System watching this?

Only poor innocent people are suffering.

Many students across the region are pursuing their careers in many professions in several colleges and universities in kashmir. A sheer distance of less than 200 km from Poonch/Rajouri to Srinagar via Mughal road, they have to endure suffering by covering more than 400 km distance. Don't let the common masses suffer by abridging the Mughal road. Even after snow clearance, the administration is taking so much time to make decisions. I request Office of LG, J&K, Manoj Sinha_ Sir, kindly intervene and open the Mughal road and stop the suffering of Pir Panjal’s people. I Urge for the instantaneous opening of the Mughal road just like the Srinagar Leh highway, Gurez and other seasonal roads. Despite being the only road connecting the two parts of the newly created Parliamentary constituency it's still closed.
