MITWPU is hosting online webinar on “Career Opportunities in Engineering and Admission Process 2023”.

School of ECE in association with IEEE MIT WPU students branch and Biokit, successfully organized one day workshop on "Bio Signals and Bio Instrumentation" for UG students on 28th Jan 2023.

The said workshop demonstrated the concepts of Introduction to Electrophysiology and Electrophysiological Signals such as Electrocardiograph (ECG), Electromyograph (EMG), Electroencephalograph (EEG), Phonocardiograph (PCG), Peripheral Pulse, Ultrasound Doppler.
This workshop also covered hands on session on, ECG Amplifier and Signal Monitoring, EMG Amplifier and Signal Monitoring, EOG Amplifier and Signal Monitoring, U/S Doppler and Signal Monitoring, Blood Pressure Measurement, Instrumentation Amplifier Testing with ECG Simulator.

The School of ECE has organized a 5-days FDP on STM32 based Edge AI with Hands on Training from 16th to 20th Jan 2023 in offline mode for academicians and professionals.

The program has demonstrated the concept of Edge AI with STM32 NucleoF4 series microcontroller, NanoEdge AI Studio and CUBE AI IDE with hands-on experience.

The sessions were conducted by Mr. Druba Jyoti Datta, DigiToad Technologies, Banglore, Dr. ArunKumar Nair, Tech Head - Artificial m Intelligence, Canspirit Artificial Intelligence Pune, Vinaya Gohokar, HoS, School of ECE

The FDP was co-ordinated by Dr. savitri jadhav and Dr. Harshali Zodpe, ECE.

National Academic Immersion Program (NAIP) at MITWPU aims at collaborating with universities

within specific domains and MIT-World Peace University for promoting the “Cross-Cultural

Exchange of Knowledge, Information, Technical and Non-Technical Skills sharing.” Under NAIP , School of ECE has sent fifty students of S.Y B.Tech (ECE) to Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi IIIT ,Delhi ( NIRF ranking :69)in the month of January 2023 ( 3rd January – 20th January 2023), with a faculty team Alka Barhatte Naik B Jadhav Rawandale Komati Lele Alwin Anuse

Students will be completing a certification course of fifty hour duration titled, “Digital System Design on FPGAs and ASICs” that includes theory and laboratory sessions. This course will be beneficial for the students who are pursuing ECE degree with AI-ML specialisation. Sumit J Darak ( IIIT,Delhi) who is a renowned academician with solid active ongoing research in the field of Signal Processing and VLSI is the course coordinator. Students also visited historical monuments Taj Mahal and Agra fort on 14th January 2023. The entire NAIP expenses were bear by MIT-World Peace University.

ECE stuedent team has shortlisted as finalist in “The Inventors Challenge” announced by ARM community. It is a competition based on the theme of “Desgin and Modeling of IoT, AI & ML Systems”. Students have received the kits from STMicroelectronics and developed a prototype under the guidance of faculty mentor Dr. S. M. Motade.
The team has been invited to demonstrate the prototype on 5th December, 2022 at ST Premises, Noida.
