Nordic Arch Abode #
This three storey home spread across 6000 sq. ft. inspired by Scandinavian aesthetics.
Pivoting on careful attention to various minute details and a subtle palette.
The interplay of light defines the interiors, creating a sense of openness, luxury and warmth.
Experimenting with the material in combination of metal and wood, wood with glass, red ceramic tiles reflects the traditional and modern sustainable design.

Posted • .in Arch Abode is a 6000 sq. ft. residential project designed by . This design speaks of the distinctive design language with a blend of unique elements.
The villa pivots on careful attention to various minute details, a subtle palette and an eye-pleasing aesthetics. The family area, which is connected to the kitchen and guest bedroom, integrates nicely with the arcade on the first level. The designer cleverly used red ceramic tiles in the shape of wall panels to keep the space cooler while also concealing the tower AC positioned behind it. The interplay of light defines the interiors, creating a sense of openness, luxury, and warmth. The interior palette is subtle, and colours are chosen to highlight the space. The designers experimented with various materials and combinations such as metal with wood, wood with glass, and red ceramic tiles. The staircase connecting to the party area with the living room has an unfamiliar arcade design replacing a typical railing which makes a distinctive design element in the space coming together with a patterned flooring of marble and terrazzo which complements the space. The wood-clad ceiling of the master bedroom creates an illusion of the ripple effect bringing in an adequate amount of the light. The daughter’s bedroom is dipped in a palette of wood and light colours, paired with a limited dose of pink. The son’s bedroom is designed as a space that reflects a young and dynamic spirit.
