JTL Industries is among India's fast-growing steel tube manufacturers, specializing in a diverse range of products, including Electric Resistance Welded (ERW) steel pipes and galvanized steel tubes, pipes, and solar mounting structures. In a Davis Index exclusive, Pranav Singla, Executive Director, JTL Industries shared with Sandeep Goyal his vision for the company's growth and an outlook on steel demand.

𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗞𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗮'𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗝𝗮𝗻-𝗙𝗲𝗯 to nearly half compared to volumes in Jan-Feb 2023. The drop in deliveries from Japan was 44pc. Volumes of recycled aluminium and copper imports also decreased in the period. Check out the below infographics for details.

𝗨𝗦 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 increased to 73,012mt, up by 1pc from January 2023, while primary copper imports rose by 124pc to 91,651mt, according to US Census data. In January, primary aluminum imports declined by 3pc to 298,146mt.
