एकांत : एकाचा अंत कि शून्याची सुरुवात ? एकटेपणाची भीती ही बऱ्याचदा आपल्याला सतत कार्यशील राहण्यास मदत करते. ही भीती आयुष्यभर आपला साथ देते आणि आपण तिचा सांभाळ करतो. पण निसर्गात गेल्यावर मात्र मन शांत होऊन जेव्हा आपण त्याच्याशी एकत्व साधतो तेव्हा दुसऱ्या कोणाचा अगदी स्वतःचाही आवाज नकोस वाटतो. आपल्या आतले विचार आपोआपच शमतात. जसे शांत पाण्यावर तरंग नसतो तसे मन अगदी नितळ होऊन पारदर्शी बनते. बुद्धाने सांगितल्याप्रमाणे शून्यत्व किवां जीव शिवाचे ऐक्य यांच्या अगदी जवळची अवस्था काही क्षण का होईना जागृतावस्थेत होते. द्वैत असूनही आणि अद्वैताचा प्रत्यक्ष अनुभव कुठल्याही गुरूशिवाय फक्त निसर्गच देऊ शकतो. आपल्या आतील कोलाहल थांबविण्याची शक्ती आणि सर्व शंकांचे मूळ नष्ट करणारा हा निसर्गच आपल्याला शून्याच्या गर्भात प्रविष्ट करण्यास मदत करतो. म्हणूनच कधी कधी एकांत हा अंत आणि आरंभ दोन्हीही आहे असे वाटते. पण त्याची चव चाखण्यासाठी मात्र तो आपणाकडून फक्त मनाची निर्भयता आणि वेळ एवढेच मागतो.

The Mulberry Trails

Product Photography : Samovar; an integral part of Kashmiri culture actually origins in Russia. An intricately carved pot used for drinking tea named Kehwa. I was transfixed by the ritual of drinking Kehwa poured from this object into a glass. Having art around us is essentially part of a human communities. And also it's the celebration of diversity. In most of the Central Asian countries and Russia one can find these beautiful kettles. Why not have one for us as well !

Catalogue shoot for a saree brand. A simple lighting with elegant styling and pleasant expression make the whole look complete.

Working with a talented stylist also helps you to learn the tricks of the trade. What will go with the Hero product. Especially when it's food we need to pair things accordingly. And yes the role of the lighting is crucial to create the necessary feel to the overall image.

This was a delicious picture but not actually the ice cream the way it looks like :-) It stays very long and doesn't melt. To know more obviously you can get in touch with the stylist. A great shoot and fun with Bali.

Final shots for a food startup in Bangalore ( Health Gourmet ). In a way photographer gets a chance to learn so many things while doing the act of photography. This was one of that. Styling which is an integral part of food photography. It's the main reason that make the dish look delicious and tempting. Each assignment adds something on your platter. This time it was delicious food.

Going the traditional way y shooting on white backdrop bis good but experimentation reveals the personality of the product. The red shoe shining on grey backdrop looks razor sharp. Highlighting the features, design and details are critically important in any shoot. Every assignment asks for something more from you. This one definitely deserved the attention.
