This is a long pending post. I must confess, it was due to my pursuit of crafting the perfect thank you note. 🙈

I am finally sitting down to share my heartfelt gratitude. The long-awaited results of the IICM Global Artistic Excellence Competition have been announced, and I am overjoyed to reveal the awards my pieces have garnered in their respective categories.

Before diving into the specifics, I want to emphasize that the Gold, Silver, and Bronze distinctions do not denote traditional first, second, and third places. Rather, they reflect the mark slabs received in each category.

Participating in this global platform has been an invaluable learning experience, one for which I feel deeply blessed and fortunate. Amidst a sea of remarkably talented international bakers, I am humbled to have had the opportunity to showcase my creations and grow as an artist.

First and foremost, I extend my gratitude to my Lord Almighty for bestowing upon me this incredible opportunity. Without divine guidance and blessings, none of this would have been possible.

I am immensely grateful to Tina Scott Parashar for providing us with such a dynamic and inclusive platform. Your vision and dedication have fostered a community of inspiration and creativity, driving artists like myself to push our boundaries and strive for excellence. Thank you to all the judges for their dedicated effort and invaluable feedback

To my family, especially my husband, kids, parents, and friends: your unwavering support and encouragement have been my rock throughout this journey. Without your love and belief in me, I could never have imagined achieving such heights.

Last week, we got a request to replicate an AI generated reference image (last pic)

The client didn't realize it's AI generated but was kind enough to understand the challenges associated with it.

I wanted to take inspiration and give it a go. So, we decided to go brighter, omiting the sparrow. Check out the result.

This buttercream cake is adorned with buttercream flowers. The background is hand painted and the tiny flowers made out of gumpaste adds to the elegance.

Presenting to you, "Dobby the House-Elf : A Sculpted Cake!"

Delighted to present my entry for the prestigious IICM Global Artistic Excellence Competition , inspired by one of my beloved characters from Harry Potter.

This is an attempt into capturing every detail, from the mesmerizingly big eyes and pointy nose to the striking, exaggerated features, the wrinkles and the character's unkempt demeanor. 👁

And in homage to a pivotal moment in the character's story, I've included a depiction of him receiving a humble sock from his master, marking his liberation. It's a poignant reminder of the power of kindness and the triumph of the human spirit. 🥰

This creation symbolizes not just a cake, but a journey of perseverance and learning. It represents my love to sculpted cakes, culminating in what I consider my finest detailing work yet. ❤
