As we look back with delight on 2023, it was a year of accomplishments and heartfelt collaborations with major clients in manufacturing, corporate, retail, and many more sectors. Beyond business, our focus has been on making a genuine difference in people's lives, particularly through our work in helping develop a Human as an asset.

The deep sense of fulfillment and gratitude we've had is not only professional, but also personal. As we conclude this transformative year, we at Tenue Image Management look forward to a more exciting year ahead. It can be difficult for young children to move across countries.

A similar circumstance affected one of my clients. A 12-year-old who moved to the United States four years ago found it difficult to blend in and be welcomed by the other students at her school. She consequently developed a more reclusive demeanour and struggled to communicate effectively with her own parents. Her mother was worried about her daughter's behaviour, so she contacted me to help her with the following: dressing appropriately while keeping in mind both Indian and American culture;
- social graces
- dining etiquette;
- confident communication skills;
- confident body language; and
- the skill of conversing with both friends and adults.

Understanding my clientsโ€™ lifestyles is crucial to the personalised guidance method I use with them.

It will be difficult to maintain your appearance for a longer period of time if it does not reflect who you are.
Your clothes and image are reflections of your daily life.

In the session of lifestyle analysis, we comprehend the following:
- The various roles the client plays
- The objectives they have for their social, professional, and personal lives
- The various occasions they have
- The value systems they were raised with
- Weekly routines
- Budget allocations for their wardrobes according to their various activities
- Different dress codes according to their various roles and occasions

To get the best results from an image enhancement, this session sets the stage for the entire consultation process.

When I first began studying image management in 2011, I had no idea that ten years later, my path as a successful image consultant would be so rewarding.

I've been a certified image consultant for eight years now, during which time I've directly and indirectly impacted thousands of people's lives. This has not only benefited those people but also allowed me to develop personally and professionally.

I'd like to share 8 priceless lessons I've discovered while building my business on this day:

1. PATIENCE: My business was no different from any other in this regard. Since I began the profession when people in India were not even aware of it, it has always been a roller coaster and a greater one.
2. TIMING: Whatever you say comes to you at precisely the correct moment. Whatever you're looking forโ€”wisdom, clients, or clarityโ€”will present itself to you when you're ready, not a minute sooner or after.
3. CONSISTENCY: If you ever want to succeed in anything, there is no way around the need for consistency. Every day, you must perform it more skillfully than the previous day.
4. CONSIDER THOUGHTS OTHERS MIGHT NOT CONSIDER: Only if you consider how you can accomplish something differently will you stand out.
5. REGULATE THE NORMS: Avoid falling for the stereotypes.
6. BE FLEXIBLE: Letting go of rigidity is the key to success.
7. LET GO: Get rid of any and all restrictions, ideas, and so forth.
8. JUST DIVE IN: Just jump in and you'll learn to swim and come out on top as long as a fresh opportunity in uncharted terrain doesn't harm you or anybody else and even if you're unclear how to execute it.

A fantastic image scope session for the 21-year-old Satara-based founder of a skincare company marked the end of last week.

Her struggles with being heard and feeling confidence in expressing her thoughts have been numerous as a result of coming from a business family, joining the family firm at an early age, and now creating her own skincare line.
Several of the employees in her family's business have known her since she was a young child, and she now finds it challenging to transition from being the employer's young child to being the employer herself.

I'm excited for her to go on this fantastic path of building a personal brand for herself in her skincare brand as well as a family business.
The sessions are going to be a beautiful blend of online and offline sessions.

Working women now face the ongoing problem of not having as many chances as males.
Or occasionally not being able to ask for or portray themselves as deserving of growth prospects, despite having the skill sets and credentials necessary to advance up the corporate ladder.
In other words, they are doing well but not rising to the position of leadership.

Last week, at ล KODA AUTO Volkswagen India Private Limited, I was pleased to present my flagship programme, "YOU - The Brand," to women leaders who felt their professional development was stalling.

Back in September 2022, when we first started working with client, we talked about the difficulties the participants faced. The final delivery took place on February 9th after numerous discussions and programme development sessions.
I am passionate about programmes like this one that empower women, and I want to conduct a lot more of them in the future.

The definition of "appropriate" in the dictionary is "suitable or proper in circumstances."

This morning, while chatting with a friend, he casually mentioned that because you work as an image consultant, everything should be immaculate around you and you should always represent yourself perfectly

And that's what made me consider the widespread misconception regarding image management. Being appropriate rather than perfect when it comes to one's appearance, grooming, body language, and manners is what we as image consultants counsel people to do.

Instead of making you "perfect," we work with you to improve who you are.

It is said that too many cooks spoil the broth. However, I beg to differ when it comes to a group of Facilitrainers.

Had a wonderful time co-facilitating an outbound training program for a group of scientists, in Lonavla last week.

Co-facilitating with a team like this taught me how multiple activities requiring multiple props, for a group of 20 participants can be run extremely smoothly while deriving the learning outcomes of the program.
