🎯A timely and accurate diagnosis is pivotal to the success of any treatment !
In this case it not only made it easy for the little toddler to undergo treatment as it was non invasive, but also arrested the decay in place till the patient was old enough for a more permanent solution

🪝Ꮯꭺꮪꭼ Ꭰꭼꭲꭺꮖꮮꮪ :Patient aged 3yrs reported with a decay wherein there was no pain and No radiographic changes

🪝Silver Diamine Fluoride (SDF) was applied and tooth was restored.

🪝Constant follow up was done

🪝After 3 yrs, there was a fracture in restoration, but there was no pain, excavation was started with a plan of minimal invasion. Fortunately hard base gave another hope for one more conservative approach and Indirect pulp capping was done

🪝3 months follow up with no pain and no abnormality in radiograph. Patient is kept on Continued follow up.

Only adults need a beautiful looking set of teeth! Said who?!
❣️This was a 2.5 year old girl, who visited us with multiple decayed teeth and unable to chew!
▶️Pulp therapy (root canal treatment) was done with Prefabricated zirconia crowns in her front teeth under General Anesthesia!
▶️This will go a long way for this little girl as we’ve to preserve her teeth till there is a transition from her milk teeth to the permanent teeth !
