The featured project by Darsh*ta Joshi of IDream Design Studio () is a minimal contemporary aesthetics but one that is rooted in timeless, warm elegance.

The design language was muted with clean lines, textures, minimal furniture, customized door handles, balancing color palette, Modern elements, soft lighting, multipurpose seating, and indigenous according to modern contemporary and minimalist themes. The entry has a well-articulated rich wooden ceiling with beautiful surface light, a cleanly designed shoe rack, and eye-catching fabric seating. The passage opens up to the single space consisting of living, dining, kitchen, family living, two verandas. The living rooms palette follows that of the entire home a subtle, restrained but with sprinkles of color through acces sories, soft furnishes break the monochromatic theme and add color relief to the scheme.

A veranda is a place for long conversations or a place for one to relax, chill and unwind. To achieve this character wooden grid ceiling, grass, a custom-made stone water fountain, julha is used. Bedrooms are kept minimal yet functional. A well-balanced space communicates a sense of relaxation and security. Keeping this in mind, the master bedroom is designed to provide a tranquil and luxurious feel. The room showcases custom furniture and plush furnishings which make the room look opulent. The daughter's room has been given a fresh and elegant look. The play of pastels adds sophistication and charm to this beautiful dreamy room. Most of the furniture is custom made, and some pieces are imported. Bold elements, lines, and textures add quirkiness to space.

Veranda is a place for long conversations or a place for one to relax, chill and unwind. To achieve this character in north veranda we used earthen palette : Wooden grid ceiling , grass, custom made stone water fountain, julha lends outdoor feels to the space. A series of plants provide freshness which also monitors the Air Quality.

South Veranda has sculpture like hexagonal boxes crafted in wood ,paired with brass hexagonal frame and hexagonal tiles behind. This is providing beautiful back drop to wooden dining table with bench and beautiful wooden chairs which gives feel of outdoor seating.

Doctor by profession, musician at heart, guitarist , avid reader , coffee lover and chef. For his multitalented son we wanted to design a room which is as vibrant as him. We combined two rooms to create his suit room. Room has bed space and a library/music room and a dresser. Tv unit visually divides bed space and library/music room to maintain privacy. To match his young vibes we gave rustic ambience to the room. To achieve this character a lot of material experimentation was carried out : bricks, bold metal decorative lights, splash of bold colors on the walls, wooden uneven belts on ceiling, mixture of tropical theme in curtains with plain curtains. Most of the furniture was custom made, and some pieces were imported. One wall of library has pegboard, with adjustable shelves which leaves freedom of housing the stuff as per his mood & needs in any given point of time. The spaces flow into each other and play with interconnected views. Bold elements, lines and textures adds the quirkiness to the space.

Created in the verandah, this dining area has almost sculptural epoxy dining table with wooden chairs for an outdoor feel. Its topped with customized wooden belts on the ceiling, with beautiful saturn lights.

We are pleased to share that one of our project got published in “ GLITZ ARCHITECTURE & INTERIORS - July 2020”.

Some projects become dear to you immediately when you hear the brief of it.!! In today’s time when in early age also people don’t prefer to take any additional stress, 70 year YOUNG aunty came to me to design her abode..The brief was even interesting, it was a house for only two people..she herself, and her 90 year Super YOUNG mother.. ( super young because she eats chocolate more than me and drink thumpsup more than me at the age of 90. )

Usually i don’t do turnkey project but we admired them so much that we didnt want to give them any additional trouble of handling agencies. So accepted this as turnkey project and completed in two and half months time.

Simplicity is ultimate sophistication and we played around that concept to give maintenance free house to adorable aunties.. The canvas we kept muted and played with lots of pastels to match their personalities. We used some pop of colors in upholstery and art installation to break the monotony.. This project will always remain special to us..Thank you Varsha Vyas aunty for giving us this fabulous experience..
