Casa Smusso initiated to satisfy a program of needs through an architectural posture that reflects in the context and community. With two floors of living space, a compact footprint provides a variety of living experiences.

The use of natural color palette along with structural metal elements and indigenous materials devices visual variability, illustrated by processes of age, change and the patina of time, essential for information rich environment.

To enhance the quality of interiors, we envolped the bounded spaces with linked series and chains of green pockect spaces to improve the natural lighting and cross ventilation, and create compact yet breathable architecture. The design intent is to generate luxurious living through fostering connections with nature exemplifying the spirit of place, as Frank Gehry says, “Architecture should speak of its time and place, but yearn for timelessness.”
