"Work hard, and you can achieve everything that you desire." My father used to always tell me when I was growing. It was taught in the textbooks that hard work always pays. As a child growing up, being influenced with all these sayings, hard work seemed to be the only mantra to succeed in life.
However, as I grew up I realized the fact that it's not just the hard work that matters. It is the perseverance that holds the key to succeed in life. Because there will be times in life when even after investing hours of hard work you won't get the results. It is during those times that you can easily lose hope, and give up.
This is where the magic of 'PERSEVERANCE' will keep you going! You never know, you might have decided to give up, when you are just one step away from your dream.
So whenever you feel like giving up, remember - Perseverance is the hard work you do after you get tired of doing the hard work you already did.
And, then you succeed!!!

Just as brushing your teeth is important so is cleaning your tongue. The bacteria harmful to teeth and mouth in general builds their nest on the tongue too. The tongue over the time if not cleaned daily becomes the cause of dental diseases in your mouth. Very commonly seen disease associated with tongue is Candidiasis in which a white layer forms on your teeth!! This is the main cause of bad breath 🧫👹

Everyone’s teeth are not the same. Variables in enamel thickness as well as enamel shade, give off different colors other than white, which is perfectly normal. Teeth that are not perfectly white can still be healthy.
Teeth are considered unhealthy if their color is attributed to plaque buildup or staining. Having off-white teeth is often healthy.
Also the colour of teeth changes from white to yellow as we age. This is a natural aging phenomena.
So instead of worrying about the colour of your teeth by looking into the mirror, visit your dentist to know if it's normal or not 🤗

Patient (excited): Hey doc, do you remember me?!
Me: Yes ofcourse, you are visiting after 2 long years! Where had you been?
Patient (excited): Yeah, I couldn't visit India due to COVID-19. But here I am again, to see you and get my teeth fixed!!
Me: That’s great 😃 So you need this this this to be done.
Patient (confused): Oh doc, but I'm leaving for London on Saturday. Is it possible to get everything done before that?!
Me (in dilemma) : Ah that's really very short time Mr. X, even if I run in the speed of bullet train, I'm afraid it won't be done.
Patient (sad): No problem doc, I'll visit you next year!
Me (unhappy): As patient won't be able to get required treatment done due to time constraints.
Patient: Hey doc don't worry. I have never been to any other dentist than you and I trust your words. Hopefully I'll come with time next year so that all the necessary treatments are done. By the way doc, when are you visiting London?! I'll give you my contact details, do visit me.

Brushing your teeth twice daily is a non debatable topic. There is ifs and buts to not brushing.
Recently I came across a patient who hasn't been brushing for 5 years, because that is what she was advised by other dentist as she complained of bleeding gums! 😱🥺
Patient's teeth and gums & overall mouth condition was in a non-salvageable condition. I went for complete periodontal protocol, extracted poor prognosis teeth, saved as many teeth I could and rehabilitated it with new ones.
Do not fall for such advices by your doctor. Consult a gum surgeon/periodontist if you have bleeding gums 💯
I hope no one else suffers the way that patient did!!
