રાજકોટ મહાનગરપાલિકા દ્વારા બનાવવામાં આવેલ રામ વન અર્બન ફોરેસ્ટ, ઇલેક્ટ્રિક બસ ચાર્જીંગ સ્ટેશન, 23 ઇલેક્ટ્રિક બસનું તેમજ વિવિધ કામોના લોકાર્પણ તથા ખાતમુર્હુત કાલે મુખ્યમંત્રી ભુપેન્દ્ર પટેલના હસ્તે કરવામાં આવશે. રામ વનના લોકાર્પણની સાથે પવિત્ર શ્રાવણ માસ અને આગામી સાતમ-આઠમના તહેવારોને ધ્યાનમાં રાખીને 28 ઓગસ્ટ સુધી રામ વનની મુલાકાતે આવતા શહેરીજનોને નિ:શુલ્ક પ્રવેશ આપવામાં આવશે
રામ વનનું 47 એકરમાં નિર્માણ
47 એકર જમીનમાં નિર્માણ પામેલા રામ વન અર્બન ફોરેસ્ટ કુલ રૂ. 13.77 કરોડના ખર્ચે બનાવવામાં આવેલ છે. જેમાં રૂ.1.61 કરોડના ખર્ચે ભગવાન શ્રીરામના જીવન પર જુદી જુદી પ્રતિકૃતિ મૂકવામાં આવી છે. આ ઉપરાંત 80,000 જેટલી પ્રજાતિના 25 જેટલા બ્લોકમાં જે પૈકી 2 બ્લોકમાં મીયાવાકી થીમ બેઇઝ પ્લાન્ટેશન કરવામાં આવ્યું છે. આ ઉપરાંત 80 ફૂટ રોડ ખાતે રૂ.11.63 કરોડના ખર્ચે 15200 ચો.મી.માં ઇલેક્ટ્રિક બસ માટેનું ચાર્જીંગ સ્ટેશનનું નિર્માણ કરવામાં આવ્યું છે. આ ચાર્જીંગ સ્ટેશનમાં 3100 વોટનું HT વીજ કનેક્શન, 2500 વોટનું ટ્રાન્સફોર્મર, પેનલ રૂમ, કેબલ ડક્ટ, 240 કિલો વોટના 14 ચાર્જર સહિતનો તમામ ઇલેક્ટ્રિક બસ માટેનો ચાર્જીંગ શેડ વગેરે સહિતની સુવિધા ઉપલબ્ધ કરાયેલ છે.
