डॉर्मेंसी के बाद पौधे को फिर से हरा भरा बना देंगे ये टिप्स
किसी भी गार्डनर के लिए सबसे दुख की बात पौधे को अपनी आंखों के आगे सूखते हुए देखना है। सर्दियों के मौसम में अक्सर ऐसा होता है। इसे पौधों की डॉर्मेंसी( dormancy), सुप्तावस्ता या निष्क्रिय अवस्था कहते हैं। ऐसे में उनकी ग्रोथ बिल्कुल रुक जाती है। पत्ते सूखकर झड़ जाते हैं। ऊपर से देखने पर ऐसा प्रतीत होता है कि पौधा मर गया है। लेकिन ऐसा नहीं है। प्रतिकूल तापमान यानि अधिक सर्दी के दौरान पौधा अपने विकास को रोककर विराम करते हैं व वृदि्ध की तैयारी करते हें। जैसे ही तापमान अनुकूल होता है यानि गर्माहट आती है वैसे ही पौधे डॉर्मेंसी से बाहर आने लगते हैं। लेकिन जब पौधे डॉर्मेंसी से बाहर आ रहे होते हैं ऐसे में हमें पौधों की मदद करनी चाहिए। पौधे को फिर से हरा भरा बनाने के लिए परिस्थितियाँ अनुकूल बनानी चाहिए। इस लेख में गार्डनिंग एक्सपर्ट कविता तिवारी ने बताया कि फरवरी के महीने में पौधों को डाॅर्मेंसी से बाहर कैसे निकालें। वह कुछ ऐसे टिप्स बताएंगी जिनकी मदद से पौधा फिर से हरा भरा हो जाएगा।

कितने समय की होती है डॉर्मेंसी

डॉर्मेंसी एक प्राकृतिक प्रक्रिया है। इसकी शुरुआत व अंत होना तापमान पर निर्भर करता है। हालांकि भारत में यह तकरीबन दो माह की रहती है। दिसंबर के महीने के साथ ही डॉर्मेंसी की शुरुआत होती है। वहीं जनवरी में यह पीक पर होती है क्योंकि इस समय तापमान काफी कम होता है। वहीं फरवरी आते ही देश में तापमान वृद्धि शुरु होती है। इसके साथ ही डॉर्मेंसी का समय पूरा होता है।

सुप्तावस्था से बाहर लाने के लिए प्रयास
पौधों को वसंत ऋतु यानि फरवरी की शुरुआत में सुप्तावस्था से बाहर लाने का प्रयास करना चाहिए।
वसंत आते ही पौधे को प्रत्यक्ष प्रकाश में लेकर आएं।
हार्ड प्रूनिंग करें।
पौधों की गुड़ाई करें।
पौधों की रिपॉटिंग करें।
नई वृद्धि को प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए इसे अच्छी तरह से पानी दें।
लिक्विड फर्टिलाइजर का प्रयोग करें।

हार्ड प्रूनिंग
सर्दियों के बाद फरवरी का महीना हार्ड प्रूनिंग का सबसे सही समय होता है। जो भी टहनी सूख चुकी हैं उन्हें हटा दें। सूखे पत्तों को भी पूरी तरह से हटा दें। यानि पौधे की मुख्य टहनी को भी ऊपर से प्रून करना है। इस समय हार्ड प्रूटिंग, ट्रिमिंग या सॉफ्ट प्रूनिंग कर सकते हैं।
