Prarthana Ecoville

The facade has been derived using double height terraces whose projections are angled towards the North-East corner.

The building has been designed such that each units are either East or South facing which is ideal for Ranchi's climate. The project consists of two residential tower which has been strategically placed around a central open space for proper ventilation of flats, along with a large green open space at the North Eastern Corner.

This is one of few buildings which has been planned as a Green Building under IGBC and fulfills the Gold Rating.

Buddhiya Bagan
A B+G+10 apartment complex of 3 towers, at Hindpiri, Ranchi.
One block is approaching completion and other two are ongoing construction. The design approach adopted for this project is in accordance with the climate and ethos of Ranchi.
All flats are Vaastu complined and well ventilated. The facade of the building has a combination of mass and void with earth colours. The colours gel with the environment very well.
Plentiful garden has been incorporated in the site along with facilities like play area, club house, gaming zones etc.

Vendor's market was designed to ease the congestion on the main road of Ranchi as well as create a climate controlled designated space for the street vendors whose unauthorized stalls were encroaching on the main road.

Lifford - Bar & Lounge (3/3)

The highlight of the second lounge is the "heritage collage," which is a collection of black and white sketches depicting the 135 year old history of the club as well the city of Ranchi. This wall is highlighted by using a concealed wall grazing lighting fixture.

The den has an air hockey table and dartboard along with different kinds of posters to infuse a youthful feel to the overall area. The green texture paint evokes the feel of an authentic Irish Bar, as well as allows to reduce woodwork to keep the project within the budget.

Lifford - Bar & Lounge (2/3)

The bar has been designed with dark brown monochromatic hues, with wood-finish floor tile, veneer wall cladding and false ceiling complementing arched openings clad with earthen brick tiles. The bafflework ceiling above the bar counter and cabinet differentiates the space from the lounge seating. Victorian lighting with industrial features along with dark brown tufted leatherette sofas, wooden tables and barrels complete the vibe of a British gentleman's cigar lounge & bar.

The existing structure of Ranchi Club was built in 1886 during the Colonial Era. The project brief asked us to restore and renovate the existing space in a manner that would reflect the club's British history in a contemporary Indian context. The Project has been planned in three zones - Bar, Lounge & Den.

The bus stand has 20 bus bays to pick up and drop off passengers. It also includes shops and food plazas, as well as staying rooms and public washrooms for passengers to relax between long bus journeys.

Naga Baba Vegetable Market

Regular traffic jams near the Raj Bhavan Road and Chowk due to encroachment of road by street vendors is becoming a big issue for vehicular movement. Hence, our clients RMC required a designated vegetable and fruit market to take the vendors off the road and give them a climated-protected space.

The Vegetable Market has platforms and space for 250-300 vegetable vendors and fruit sellers. The platforms have been given in both lower and upper ground floors. The mezzanine floor above overlooks the market, and has space for a food court with 7 food stalls, as well as public washrooms. Adequate parking has been provided in the basement and in front of the building for 2 and 4 wheelers.

The built form has been designed to keep the area naturally lit and ventilated. Solar-powered lighting provided within the building and campus reduces the electric load and makes it an energy efficient market.
