I was trying to avoid this message for a long time. But now I couldn't stop myself from writing about the reality of a Rishikesh based yoga school.

We (Aadi Yoga School, Rishikesh, www.aadiyogaschool.com) have been working in Rishikesh since 2019, and we have achieved good success among the yoga lovers by maintaining good quality in training, food, and accommodation. Instead of compromising on the price, we decided to offer the best quality of experience to the students, and we stuck to our best quality policy.

In 2022, a bunch of people (a marketing team and teacher) expelled from a reputated school in Rishikesh came into the market, and they started to do yoga business with the same name and almost the same domain url as Aadi Yoga School, and they took the logo of their previous reputated schools where they were working. Their main intention was to create confusion among the people. So on an immediate basis, they buy a thousand fake followers for their Instagram page to show their reputation better than us, and they forget to maintain a good conversion rate on their posts. With the conversion ratio on their posts, it was clear they had fake followers.

Somehow, we traced their location with the given address on their website and found the different name of the yoga school. There was no mention of the name of our school (Aadi Yoga School) or the name of the school from them; they took the logo. They were working under a different name, and maybe they are registered with a yoga alliance under a different name.

It was totally confusing for us too. How do a bunch of yogic people or fake people create this kind of messup in the industry?

Aadi Yoga had already applied for the TM in 2020. Before going for a legal battle, they accepted our request to change names. But they changed the name of the domain and school smartly. Instead of changing the entire name, they changed only the last word of the domain and social media pages.

They are still using Aadi Yoga School smartly on some of the partnered channels, like Bookyogaretreats.com and Bookretreats.com.

A few good fans of Aadi Yoga Schools mistakenly joined their school, and they got to know about the reality after joining them. This fake school also uses Laxman Jhula Rishikesh in their addresses while talking on calls as an inquiry with them. In reality, they located far away from Laxman Jhula.

A few students recommend that I write a brief post about this experience on social media and make people aware of this reality.

Aadi Yoga School's vision is to offer the best quality of experience to yogic people instead of compromising on price. We assure the students of the best experience and a family-friendly, safe environment during their training with us, as well as complimentary unlimited revisions on Zoom and Google Meet. So they can clear their doubts in the free revision classes and do regular practise to be a great yoga teacher.

5. 24-hour power backup Rishikesh is a mountain-surrounding city. Most of the time, we do face electricity shutdown issues in Rishikesh. Even during the summer, we do not have electricity for the entire night. At Aadi Yoga School, we do have a 24x7 power backup. We do have our own generator.

6. LOCATION: Most of Rishikesh's schools are located on the traffic side of Rishikesh, which is Tapowan. A 3- to 4-hour daily traffic jam is a common issue in Tapowan.

On the other side, Aadi Yoga School is located on the opposite side of the Tapowan area. And this centre is located in front of the Ganga River. Only local vehicles are allowed to move in our area. From our common passage area on the first floor, second floor, and yoga hall, you can watch a stunning view during the morning, evening, and night of the Ganga river, mounatins, and Laxman Jhula. The specialty of our location is that we are 2 minutes' walking distance from a cafe and local market. We are just 5 minutes' walking distance from the Goa Beach in Rishikesh and 500 metres away from the forest area boundary start (Raja Ji Park).

In short, if you wish to watch stunning views while staying nearby local markets, cafes, mountains, and forests, then choose Aadi Yoga School.
