“The development of full artificial intelligence could spell the end of the human race….
It would take off on its own, and re-design itself at an ever increasing rate. Humans, who are limited by slow biological evolution, couldn’t compete, and would be superseded.”

Muon is a particle that gives us hope for new physics.
We scratched our heads, burnt some ink, scrolled on choke boards for about a hundred years and now we watch the muon dance inside a huge magnet, in the hope to supersede all that was done.

"Mathematics is the language of the Universe". The language of symbols that describe roundabout everything; from "what is" to "what can be". A never-ending ecstacy of life itself that sometimes surpasses the domain of rationality as such. And there we go. We even have something symbolic for that too. "Pi". The very symbol that's found in almost every area of mathematics and physics. This "International Pi day", the AIM family encourages everyone to celebrate on this occasion to give one of the most crucial and important parts of our reality by its very nature, the proper recognition in a manner that's; let's just say, is SYMBOLIC.

India is home to the world's largest democracy, with the constitution of India acting as the backbone of this governance. It came into effect on 26 January 1950 and marked the formation of the Republic of India. Since then, it has safeguarded our freedom, equality and overall social wellbeing.

On this historical day, AIM NIT ROURKELA would like to extend its gratitude towards all the freedom fighters who tirelessly fought for India, to all personnel of Indian defence forces who protect the Indian Republic, and covid warriors for their selfless service towards India.

Owing to the rapid growth in the field of biomedical technology and the need for microdevices, microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) were invented. Microelectromechanical systems have emerged as a promising technology in the field of medicine. MEMS-based drug delivery systems enable targeted and controlled delivery of drugs to various parts of the human body.

To know about the Drug delivery technology using MEMS in detail, visit our 3rd article of AIM-O-Vation. 👇

New Year festival, any of the social, cultural, and religious observances worldwide that celebrate the beginning of the new year. Such festivals are among the oldest and the most universally observed.New Year’s celebrations in many countries begin on December 31—New Year’s Eve—and last until the early hours of 1st January. Revellers eat meals and snacks that are considered to bring them good fortune. Watching fireworks and singing songs are traditions that are practised all around the world. The start of a new year is an excellent time to make positive changes. Making New Year resolutions is more popular in the western hemisphere, although it is also practised in the eastern hemisphere. A person makes a pledge to modify an undesired habit or behaviour, or set a personal goal. There is a belief in India i.e if anyone do desired thing on 1st Jan that works with whole year.

*AIM* wishes you and your family a *HAPPY NEW YEAR!* May this joyful year greet you with health and happiness in abundance.

Diwali/Deepavali "The festival of LIGHTS".

Deepavali literally means "a row of lights"
We Indians celebrate this auspicious festival Diwali on Aswayuja month of Amavasya tithi to mark the victory of Godess Satyabhama and Lord Krishna over Evil Narakasura.

Also Diwali is the day Lord Rama, Sita, Lakshman and Hanuman reached Ayodhya after a period of 14 years in exile after Rama's army of good defeated demon king Ravana's army of evil.

Let's together light diyas and lights to weaken those evil forces in every corner of our houses and welcome Godess Laxmi into our homes.

Let's together celebrate this festive as an eco friendly diwali.

*AIM wishes you all Happy Diwali.*

*AIM wishes you all Happy Dussehra.*

Happy independence day
“We should have but one desire today - the desire to die so that India may live - the desire to face a martyr's death, so that the path to freedom may be paved with the martyr's blood”
Quote said by Neetaji Subhashchandra bose, clearly represents how tough of the time india was in, and sacrifices our soldier had to make to regain our freedom from British ruling India. If it wasn’t for the sacrifices of such brave hearted soldiers, leaders and fighters, we wouldn’t have the freedom that we take for granted today.
India freed itself from the British Empire which ruled and try to control the nation for 200 years. The day india finally got freed from outer suppression i.e. August 15, 1947 is marked as our independence day. Ever since Indians have joined hands every year on this day to reminisce the sacrifices of the fighters and leaders who put the country above their own lives.
This year India would hoist the flag to celebrate its 75th Independence Day .And our club wishes you all happy independence day .Lets come together and remember our brave soldiers .
“At the stroke of midnight, when the world sleeps, India shall awake to life and freedom...”these were the words of our first prime minister on celebrating Independence Day for the first time.
