It's been a while. Been busy with personal errands and especially the kids. But I'm back and off again. While masks have been used during covid, these masks are now being made for someone who needs it on the go to avoid dust allergies.

My client from Pune had ordered these boxes of Wholewheat brownies yesterday on the occasion of his wife's birthday for his brothers in Hyderabad and today for his Teachers in Hyderabad. He said pls send them today as tomorrow is Monday and they wouldn't be at home as they will be at school... working.
This was a very touching gesture and it's really goes to show how much he cherished his Sirs from school days.

This was the most challenging and exciting work experience so far as the client wanted different colours in each patch. The double floral design has more than 65 colours of anchor knitting cotton. The placemats have 13 colours and so on. Lining done by me.😎

If you're a commercial Baker you will use the shortcut unhealthy option of ready made spread that barely contains hazelnuts loaded with unhealthy palm oil and use it for this but if you're a homebaker, you will make chocolate hazelnut butter from scratch with the best of ingredients including loads of hazelnuts.
My client asked for brownie cake and I gave her this option with chocolate hazelnut butter. I'm so glad they enjoyed it.

One and half kg plain chocolate wholewheat brownies for Mr. Ramakrishna and half kg dark chocochips wholewheat brownies for my former landlady's daughter's 18th birthday.
It's been a long summer break before I started baking these again.❤️

My son's behaviour therapist always makes it a point to order these wholewheat brownies with roasted hazelnuts. Hazelnuts are her favourite. And my she happens to be my son's favourite therapist cos I remember how my son was so attached to her the most, at the therapy centre. ❤️
Now that her sister has been over at their place she wanted to order an additional box for them.

Made them in royal blue and deep red, two of the most ordered colours these days. Such a beautiful way to celebrate friendship with a meaningful gift...I wouldn't call it a parting gift but a "keep in touch" gift....for like the famous saying, distance makes the heart grow fonder.

Beautiful, simple and classic style crochet square wheel coasters by designer Heather Gibbs from Ravelry.
I've made lot of changes to the original pattern and added some extra rows to make it bigger.
The finished size is 4x4 inches, 5 inch diagonally.

These three beauties were made on order for my son's speech therapist Haripriya Ma'am.
I'm so overwhelmed to make each of them for her, and so happy with the feedback I've received from her. Each is a different design in different colours and two of them were accessorised with some additional crochet flowers.
The round bag in deep red is a crochet Oreo bag in 8 inch diameter, one inch border size with a 45 inch adjustable sling. Two zipped pockets inside and open pocket too.
The dark brown is made with tulip stitch in a pastel Vibgyor colour combo, 9x7x1 inch dimension with a 45 inch adjustable sling, two zipped and one open pocket inside and another zipped pocket outside.
The royal blue and gold combo sling purse made with t 9x7x1 inch dimension with a 45 inch adjustable sling, two zipped and one open pocket inside and another zipped pocket outside.

For the past couple of months, I've been getting lot of order requests for crochet in bulk for dirt cheap rates because it's a bulk order. 🙄

I'd like to clarify that crochet is handmade and time consuming, it requires certain skill sets that don't come overnight.

Whether you order one or a thousand, it still involves the same amount of efforts.

It's handcrafted, not to be confused with vegetables in the market or bulk machine made where 1000 pieces are created all in one go.

When I do bulk orders like these I'm totally booked, which means I can't take up any other orders for that time frame.

It also means spending lot of hours with that work which does take a toll on my health, even though I'm extremely passionate about what I do.

If you want each piece even if it's a thousand pieces to be perfect then be willing to pay the price it is worth, if you want it to be 100% perfect how can you expect me to give it for dirt cheap.

It has to be a fair deal for both sides, I give quality 100%, I get the price 100%. Cos honestly I'm not going to be happy giving my all and being rewarded poorly, would you be happy paying a good amount but getting poor quality???

Crochet looks "nice" but it's expensive, it always will be.

Distance is no excuse for this family to meet up and celebrate.

Govinda once mentioned in an interview "the best friends that we make are those that we meet during our childhood days".
Bindu and Shirley have been these friends since ages.
So when Shirley was about to turn 50, Bindu asked me to customise a crochet sling for her 50th birthday with her initial S on it and a box of Wholewheat brownies with 5 0 written with dry fruits ( I tried my best to make it legible🤦😅).
So made this sling with royal blue and gold in cotton thread with raw silk lining inside and a half kg box or brownies with roasted almonds and walnuts.
