Glimpses of visit of 'The Rocket Man', Dr. K. Sivan, former Secretary of the Department of Space, ex-chairman of Indian Space Research Organisation and Space Commission, ex-Director of the Vikram Sarabhai Space Center and the Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre to JNN College of Engineering, Shimoga on 12.3.2022.

On the occasion of Amrita Mahotsava lecture series for completing 75 years of establishment of National Education Society, Dr. K Sivan delivered a lecture on "Impact of space technology in day to day life" followed by interaction with students.

Our alumni from 2004 -2008 batch Mr. Bharat, Mr. Vasanth and Mr. Nithin visited the department today.

Miniproject Competition of 6th ECE students was held on 21.8.2021.

7 project teams had competed very enthusiastically. Our Alumni Mr. Koushik Udupa (2019 Batch) and Mr. Vikas (2016 Batch) from Ekathva Innovations Pvt. Ltd. scrupulously evaluated the projects.

Following Three Best Projects were selected as Best Projects and awarded with Cash Prize and Certificates.

by Amoghavarsha and Team under the Guidance of Pradeep S C
*II PRIZE* IoT based Healthcare Monitoring System by Sneha K S and team under the guidance of Dr. Pramod Kumar K S
*III PRIZE* Driver Drowsiness Detection for Accident Prevention by Vidyashree and team under the guidance of Roopa B S

2020 Batch ECE Alumni meet was held on 14.08.2021.

44 alumni attended the meet. They shared their experience and suggested some training requirements for their Juniors. It was a very nice and useful gathering.
