Oyster Mushroom Cultivation can be an ideal source of supplementary income generation!
We believe in teaching people the art of fishing instead of feeding them. People in Kalimpong, Darjeeling & Dooars have found the motivation to begin their small income generating ventures or add to the family income.
Trainees feel happy that learning a new skill & experimenting with new found ideas have brought them hopes.
At HIMserve we feel blessed to walk the walk with people who work together to bring transformation in their community.

HIMserve believes in empowering groups/individuals who then become agents of change to bring transformation in their community. We are glad to serve communities in Kalimpong, Darjeeling and Dooars through various capacity building and need based training.

Here are some glimpses where individuals from our workareas received training & motivation on different agriculture topics.
Trainees from work areas have planted G-9 banana saplings this year. Tomatoes, mustard greens, spinach and peas are some of the widely grown vegetables by individuals and families after receiving various trainings on agriculture.

Roads, drains and pathways leading to villages require cleaning and maintenance throughout the year! It is a blessing to have committed community based groups working together to make cleaning initiatives a success.

Today's youth are our future adults!

It is indeed important to nurture them with kindness and responsibility. The values that we impart to our young adults often become the base upon which they build their life. So it is a must to help them grow & build them up.

HIMserve conducts trainings/workshops for teachers/ child & teenage club leaders in its work areas. Trained leaders and teachers are responsible in imparting teachings on relevant topics to their club children. We believe in active learning methods where participation from both ends (teacher & learner) is one of the key features.

It is indeed a wonderful opportunity to serve the areas of Kalimpong, Darjeeling and Dooars by involving with teachers and club leaders.
