Yoga is essentially a practise for your soul, working through the medium of your body. Ravi, a yoga instructor by profession, has the vision to help us balance our strength through his classes and personal training. He just got inspired and started pursuing it aiming to increase classes and clients.
He felt hesitated at the beginning and as days passed he pursued it with interest inspired by his attractive teaching skills. Anything you do with attention to how you feel is doing yoga. Though he hasn’t felt kind of lost, his struggles and hard work have always stood as a motivation to himself.
You have to stay updated on trends and you need to stay with trends and keep evolving, and Ravi thinks that most people will like the trend and wish to stay updated. Even if given another chance, Ravi would choose his same passion to be a yoga instructor. He’s sure that his hardwork and teaching skill would help him to achieve his goal of reaching more clients which has also been done by his trending videos earlier.

SANDEEP

Sandeep, a dancer and performer, thought to represent India as a dance performer when he used to watch reality dance shows. There’s the saying, “To dance is to be out of yourself, expressing the hidden soul of language”. Even from his childhood days, Sandeep wanted to become a dancer.
Sandeep usually leaves his house to practise. He used to do reverse bolts and hadn’t had an academy. He even struggled with financial problems and difficulties with his family. Though he faced challenges initially, he kept on practising and had won prizes.
You can do anything as long as you have the passion, the drive, the focus and the support. Sandeep feels that one has to fight for themself and should remember that we can also do it, if everyone can do it. “Until we update the tab, we will be getting pitched with Logan as much as we do with Mehndi. We will keep moving forward with people, so it’s very important to stay updated”, says Sandeep
If given another chance, he would prefer acting to dance. “We get good opportunities. We want to do something efficient so that we can fulfill our dreams” utters Sandeep to all the performers out there

Tonay Kar, a photographer and filmmaker by profession, was fascinated with cameras when his father gifted him a mid range Canon DSLR on his 18th birthday. “I was an average student and maybe that’s the reason I never had big expectations from studies” says Tonay. From his childhood days he was interested in cameras, so his first camera was very special to him.

During his teenage years, he was very much influenced by the works of Richard Drew, a Photojournalist who had own Pulitzer prize. To follow his dream, he was trying his luck in the field of photography which was easy. Convincing his parents to travel in the same was a big challenge yet his efforts finally proved them. As a photographer and a travel enthusiast, all that he wanted is to explore the unexplored frames.

After the higher secondary exams, he was totally confused and he had no idea of what and where to proceed next. Though he was confident, there was an underlying fear and perplexion inside him. His family motivates him the most. Technology is improving rapidly and so is the demand. Third generation devices like drones, vlogging cameras are being updated on a regular basis which makes our task difficult and still enjoyable.

If given another chance, he would have become a guitarist since he’s been playing for years and it helps him relax. “Excuses are for losers. You may have a million reasons to not do it but only one reason to do it and that’s happiness. If you really think that your passion is something that gives you joy, a better life and a better version of yourself, then keep doing it” states Tonay to the filmmakers out there.

Introducing Vijay Bhandari.

Having grown up in Shimla, a beautiful and historic place of Northern India, Vijay has always been fascinated by the possibilities of photography since childhood. Being a photographer by profession, he’s been filming and capturing different aspects of nature while living and traveling to different places across Himachal Pradesh and to Uttarakhand sometimes. “There is always a pleasure in the pathless woods. I spend most of my free time exploring and admiring them. Nature is my inspiration, with all the beauty and variety of colors and compositions” says Vijay.

Photography was his hobby. Practising everyday, it turned into passion and profession then. The biggest challenge he has been facing is the opinion of his parents and relatives about him. For them, a photographer is the one who makes only wedding films. They think that it’s not that good to start with this profession. “Ek kaan se suno dusre se nikalana (Listen with one ear and out the other)” is what helps him to overcome his difficulties.

There are situations when he kind of felt lost not only during this lockdown but every individual years earlier and calls them a creative block though. His motivation lies in the quote “Trees don’t bear fruit in a day, it takes a lot of hardwork and patience”. Vijay feels that being updated with recent market trends and technologies helps in easy communication and business growth. If given another chance, Vijay wouldn’t follow any other passion/field.

“Believe in yourself and your time. Never stop practising no matter what you have. Good things take time but require more hardwork and patience. You are going to be better at some and worse at some anyways. Dwelling on things can stifle your creativity as an emerging artist. Correlating yourself with an experienced professional can stunt your growth. Compare yourself with yourself. It’s all about where you want to see yourself in the near future” suggests Vijay to the photographers out there.

“Dance is what my soul needs to live, heal, to be broken and to love” remarks Diya Bakshi, a classical dancer and tutor by profession. She started dancing when she was around 3 to 4 years old. At 12 years, she underwent professional learning which was actually something big to her during her schooling. She realized that she loves kids and dance and can involve herself with both having a professional job.

Aishwarya Rai was her idol when she started to dance at 3 years of age. ‘Kajra Re’ was the ultimate satisfaction at that moment of time and she enjoyed and giggled every part of that song. To her, It was the dream which is halfway through and with yet another part to achieve.

The age she started to learn classical dance was five to six years late than usual. As she grew up, it was hectic to manage her academic classes and batches she took to teach kids. Despite being packed with school, her coachings, dance practice and classes, deep inside her heart she was happy that she’s at least trying to give her best shot to life. “I was the head girl of my school, elite student of my dance school and a teacher to 50 lovable students” smiles Diya.

During her college days she has to travel an hour after her college till 5 p.m followed by 2-3 hour long classes. It seemed impossible for her to take everything along and even thought that she might have to leave either of the things. Her mom, Diya’s dance journey and her dream has always pushed her forward.

“Technology is like maths. If You do it when necessary it’s fun. But if you leave a chapter today, it will be complex tomorrow. Being upgraded in today’s world is a must” shares Diya. If there’s another chance, Tourism and exploration would be her choice. There is no perfect time to begin, You just have to start and then it’s the flow. Sometimes it can be harsh but eventually you will get to your goal.

Vivek Singh, a freelance Photographer and Cinematographer has the objective to portray a story through audio and visuals with a strong message. His interest in this field began when he used a DSLR camera in his childhood. He was amazed by the equipment, wanted it and got his first camera during his standard X. From then, he has been learning the process. He used to learn basic functions via online videos and pdfs.

Everyday is a new challenge and we learn from our mistakes. “Sometimes I don’t achieve the results I want. It feels bad at that moment yet I always prepare myself for the next time not to repeat the mistakes again” shared his opinion. He feels that one couldn’t succeed without failures.

Vivek follows other artists and their work to gain knowledge at all times which also aids him gaining motivation to work hard. New technologies involve a major role in staying up to the minute with the market trends and in showcasing some unique ideas. Vivek gets updated by way of social media platforms and various websites to build along with developing his passion. It also helps him in gaining new styles.

If there's another possibility, Vivek would choose music since he loves to play instruments as well as create some music. “You will grow only when you see failures or average results. Have patience to succeed in whatever field you are. Slow and steady wins the race” asserted Vivek to the artists out there.

Srijan Joshi, a writer by passion expresses things with the help of his words. It seems true that “Writing is the best way to talk without being interrupted”. He started to write when he was in high school. The inspiration to write was from his father who used to write for newspapers. His father used to say that words confine true emotions when you speak, instead when one writes it tends to be more expressive. “I wanted to express so I have my pen and diary,” says Srijan.

Even from his childhood days he wanted to be an artist, not necessarily a renowned one but a true artist. Writing includes challenges like writer’s block, feeling inadequate, fatigue and what not. Srijan usually takes time off whenever he feels so. He never forces himself to write since he believes that it may reduce the quality. “I don’t necessarily write on trending topics, I write what I truly feel” continued Srijan.

At many instances he has faced situations where he thought of feeling lost. Due to the difficult situations around him, he was not writing these days and he felt that he would overcome the scenario soon with more courage and mental strength pretty soon. Everyone is aware of the quote “We lift by helping others”. In similar fashion, his friends, family and the feeling to write things down never fail to encourage him.

Even Though it’s very important to stay updated these days, becoming viral requires many factors. Basically an art is the want to share with everyone. For that it’s very significant that we need technology and algorithms. “I love the art of musical performances in theatres. If given another chance, I would like to balance between these two” adds Srijan.

Srijan shared his opinion, “Stay true to your art. It is alright if you are not getting things that you are working so hard for. But in the end it is the art that stays. Staying true to art is equally important as staying true to yourself”.

"AAKARSH SACHDEVA"

When it comes to business, it’s the courage to continue that counts. Aakarsh Sachdeva, a businessman by profession from Haldwani, Uttarakhand believes that time management is life management which can lead to any goal. Focus all your energy, work on stuff and make your idea happen.

Aakarsh had completed his intermediate from St. Theresa. He graduated as Bachelor of Technology from Graphic Era University, Dehradun. He runs Sachdeva Store, a family owned retail business at Haldwani. He wanted to expand his closed corporation, leading him to pursue business. Working on our goals becomes significant as we grow up. “I don’t want to work for anyone, I do it for myself and that’s why I got my interest in business” remarked Aakarsh.

Competition in a business motivates us and helps one work hard to excel in ex*****on. Sachdeva too faced a lot of troubles due to the market competitors and difficulties during the pandemic. It’s encouraging that nothing could stop him from doing his work despite the difficult situation.

They say “Sky's the limit, Aim high”. When it comes to Aakarsh, he believes “It’s not enough to aim, you must hit”. Currently he is working on his aim and he has confidence that he would mention his aim once achieved. “Time management in life can lead to any goal, Just believe in yourself. That’s it” added Aakarsh.

Srijan Dangwal, an actor and filmmaker by profession says “My idea of art is an escape from the real world. Though it was never a moment of epiphany, it gradually evolved”. He perceives art as a fashion in which one indulges themself creating one’s own alternate world. He always aims to provide a subtle message in his films for the audience to learn and inspire.
During childhood we had endless possibilities of becoming everything yet restricted to a particular path imposed by the circumstances. Sarjan too followed but eventually ended up discovering his passion towards filmmaking and acting, pursuing his childhood dream. “I still have a lot to grow as an artist and hopefully I will become successful one day” said Srijan.
To compete with the experienced professionals challenged him. In technical aspects he lacked crew members and had to shoot, direct, script write and sometimes act too in the films and managed it all alone. He was grateful to his friends who helped him with all these now. The appreciation from a few people helped him to overcome all difficulties. “I still face challenges everyday because I’m learning” shared Srijan.
Be it a beginner or a well established person, one may go through a phase where they feel lost and this is an essential stage to grow up as an artist. Being a part of projects such as films, music videos, web series and acting motivates him. Whenever discouraged, he revisits his own projects to help him and encourages to become a popular personality.
One should update themselves with the regular trends. But Sarjan personally feels “It’s also fine if you don’t because art does not wait for the technology to present itself. A true artist can create a lot with a bare minimum. Art will always find its way”. If given another chance, Sarjan would have been a part of animal health care. To the artists out there, “If you believe in yourself, give yourself a chance to amaze yourself in a plethora of different ways. Artists have the bravest of hearts and power to spread social messages” added Srijan.

Vaibhav Arora, a cinematographer by profession has a vision to satisfy his clients by bringing life and picturisation to the idea of the product (be it a song or a short film), being an example to the quote “Cinematography is infinite in its possibilities”.
During his higher secondary schooling, he got to click a few pictures and that’s where his enthusiasm for cameras began, leading to click more photographs. His interest evolved during his college days and he started to capture photos and shoot videos. “Cameras were never my thing and then it just evolved with time”, he said. Being interested in Science, he chose Engineering to pursue a stable life for the wish of his dad. Although he cleared the entrance for Journalism and Mass Communication with good ranks, his consistent efforts and hard work towards his interest to shoot videos had finally made his dad realise Vaibhav’s passion and let him work in his field of interest. His mother had been the pillar of support from the beginning. “I like to shoot videos more than clicking frames”, Vaibhav added.
He apprised the dark and bright sides of the filming industry.

He even felt lost when he faced certain difficulties from the industry in regard to learning and gaining experience. He expressed YouTube as his e-guru where he started learning to improve his skill sets even more. “I’m in the process of learning and I believe there is a lot to learn”, he commented.
He stressed the importance of re-equipping oneself with technology as per market trends as they say “You blink, you lose”. The will to inspire people and the belief of actually doing things when you want to, motivates him and helps in pushing a step forward everytime. If given another chance, he would have chosen either football or fitness as his passion.

“You can start at any point and still become the best. Don’t let someone take your idea away from you no matter what. Keep learning, stay humble, work hard and never stop. Learn new trends to stay up-to-date yet keep it in your style with originality and uniqueness. Make sure you don’t have spaces for regret in your life”, conveyed Vaibhav to the artists out there.
