শিলিগুড়ি শহরের বাগড়াকোট স্থিত ৬৫ বছর বয়সী শ্রীমতি মেনকা রায় দীর্ঘদিন যাবৎ মস্তিষ্কে রক্তক্ষরণ ঘটিত স্ট্রোকের কারণে চলাফেরা করতে অক্ষম । আর্থিক সামর্থ্য না থাকায় সুষ্ঠ চিকিৎসা করাতে পারছেন না এবং বহু জায়গায় অনুরোধের পরেও কোনো সহযোগিতা পাননি । খুব অভাবের মধ্যে এক বোনের সাথে ছোট টিনের ঘরে বসবাস।

ওনার তরফ থেকে একটি হুইল চেয়ারের অনুরোধ আমাদের সংস্থা "এই-প্রজন্ম" এর কাছে পৌঁছায়, আজ আমরা ওনার বাড়িতে পৌঁছে ওনাকে একটি হুইল চেয়ার এবং সীমিত সামর্থের মধ্যে কিছু খাদ্য সামগ্রী তুলে দিতে পেরে বাধিত হলাম ।

হুইল চেয়ার দিয়ে আমদের সহযোগিতার হাত বাড়িয়ে দিয়েছেন শিলিগুড়ি সমাজসেবী শ্রীযুক্ত ঋষি আগরওয়াল মহাশয় ।

মেনকা দেবীকে আমরা কথা দিয়েছি, ভবিষ্যতে ওনার ওষুধ বা অন্য কোনো সহযোগিতার প্রয়োজনে আমরা আমাদের সাধ্যমত ওনার পাশে থাকবো।

"এই-প্রজন্ম" সংস্থার তরফে উপস্থিত ছিলেন- অনির্বাণ দত্ত , সুজিত কুন্ডু , দেবজিত দত্ত, প্রান্তিক হালদার এবং অন্যান্য সদস্যবৃন্দ ।

এই তীব্র গরমে Ei Prajanma -র দ্বারা পথচারীদের মাঝে পানীয় জল বিতরণ ।
শিলিগুড়ি শহরের উত্তরবঙ্গের সর্বোচ্চ তাপপ্রবাহ চলছে ।
এরকম অবস্থায় পথচারী মানুষ ভ্যান চালক রিকশা চালকসহ মানুষের মধ্যে সমস্যা তৈরি হচ্ছে।
তা থেকে কিছুটা স্বস্তি দেবার জন্য আজকের এই প্রচেষ্টা ।

ঠিক একই ভাবে যতদিন না যথার্থ অর্থে বৃষ্টি নামছে সবাই মিলে যদি এরকম জল বিতরণ করা যায় তাহলে সাময়িক স্বস্তি পাওয়া যেতে পারে।

We on behalf of Ei Prajanma as an integral member of (including 30+ social & nature loving organisations from North Bengal) do invite all social organisation,clubs,nature lover's to join us at Air View More on 4th June 2023, for a Mega Cycle Rally to be organised till Lataguri Bazar with demand of imposing total ban on Plastic Carry Bags & Thermocol usage and also prevent unplanned deforestation alongside saving rivers and entire Environment which is actually under serious threats...

Deputation given to H'nble Mayor Sri.Gautam Deb at SMC on 23rd May 2023 on the issue of Saving NORTH BENGAL and imposing ban on Plastic Carry Bags,Thermocol usage with invitation to stay present on 4th June 2023 program of Cycle rally flag off to be organised by around 30+ social/ nature loving organisations under a consolidated umbrella of "Uttarer Poribesh Mancha" newly formed...

Also we had provided another deputation to Sabhadipati Sri.Arun Ghosh at Siliguri Mahakuma Porishod on 25th May with same demand and request to stay present during flag off...

Saving Mahananda the life line of Siliguri & North Bengal along with other prominent rivers from pollution, eradication of Plastic & Thermocol usage in Siliguri by imposing strict legal actions.

Stopping huge amount of water wastage received from underground sources in paras and appartments, malls for washing cars,vehicles,private courtyard,lawns, everyday without any humane senses...

Mainly deforestation to save Siliguri , hill areas and entire north Bengal which is causing huge negetive impacts on Wild life...

Ecosystem if not restored now then next prajanma/generation would curse us for leaving behind a non liveable society for them...

All we wait for whole year to celebrate PUJA wearing new dress to enjoy the
days with our friends and family. But think again if we had no one to borrow or if we were in a family where we had to think about our foods, shelters etc then how come we be able to think about to celebrate PUJA thinking as a different than other days ?
