Things to look out for

A patient reported with spontaneous pain in lower left premolar .On examination it was seen that there was a pulp exposure. The carious cavity was at the cervical level with no communication with the occlusal surface.
Entry into the pulp chamber was done through the carious lesion to preserve tooth structure at the occlusal level. Root canal treatment was completed followed by post endodontic restoration.
No crown was given in this case as the marginal ridges of the tooth were not compromised.

A patient reported with pain and swelling with respect to upper first molar. Radiograph showed a periapical radiolucency with respect to the tooth. Non surgical root canal treatment was done and patient was asked to come for follow up. After six months significant reduction in periapical radiolucency was seen.
