*VISIT TO KIDZANIA & AKSHARDHAM TEMPLE*

School trips are the most awaited and amazing ones. They not only give us relaxation from our monotonous lives but also bring lots of memories. The Wisdom School, Sirsa organised a day trip to *Kidzania* on June 4, 2024, for the students of Grade 4 to Grade 8. *KidZania is an indoor theme park located in Delhi NCR*. This safe, built-to-scale city-like park has a range of entertaining role-play activities designed to inspire and educate kids in a fun and interesting way.
There are many role-play jobs and activities for kids to explore, even if it teach them how to earn, save and spend. The students enjoyed various role-play activities like a pilot, surgeon, detective, candy making, kinder joy making, pizza making, radio jockey, police station, engineer and much more. They learnt about jobs, money and the real world with mini set-ups of dominos, petrol pump, big bazaar, salons etc.
In the evening the students visited *Akshardham Mandir* and seeked the blessings of the Almighty. The mesmerising sound and light show at the temple were eye-captivating. The entire atmosphere was filled with religious vibes.
The trip came to an end with a visit to the historical India Gate.
Overall it was a fun-filled day for our students and they will indeed cherish its memories forever.

FRUIT FIESTA 2024

“HAVE FRESH FRUITS IF YOU WANT TO LEAD A FRUITFUL LIFE.”

The Wisdom School Sirsa organized an activity ‘FRUIT FIESTA’ for the students of Grade 1 on May 17, 2024 with an aim to educate children about the importance and consumption of fruit in regular diet and to convey the message of “Eat healthy live healthy.”
The tiny tots were beautifully dressed in fruit based attires. The occasion was graced with beautiful ramp walk of the kids where they introduced various fruit and their benefits. The students also presented an amazing group dance performance which added spark to the event. The teachers of Grade 1 played various games with kids. There were different fruit counters. The students also learnt more about the taste, smell, color and texture of each fruit.

The delicious fresh fruits like mango, apples, bananas, grapes etc were cut and mixed to make a scrumptious and delectable fruit salad. The kids had a party in school. In a nutshell, kids were found to be quite thrilled and were positive on the fact that fruits are better than junk foods. It was indeed a fun filled day at school premises.

The Wisdom School, Sirsa conducted ‘Capacity Building Programme - Happy Classrooms’ on May 11, 2024. CBSE Resource persons, Master Trainers and experts in the field of Education, Mr Pushpendra Rana , Principal of Mata Jaswant Kaur School Badal and Ms. Suman , Vice- Principal of Army School, Hisar conducted the workshop.

The Happy Classrooms Training session equipped teachers with valuable tools for emotional intelligence regulation .By fostering self-awareness, self-regulation, social awareness, and relationship management skills, the training empowered teachers to create supportive learning environments conducive to student .

The teachers from various schools attended this training. It encouraged active participation from teachers through group discussions, experiential learning , rhythmic boliyan and other hands-on activities. The participants were also encouraged to share their experiences and insights.

This training program provided a valuable opportunity for professional development. The sessions proved beneficial for all participants, fostering a culture of empathy, understanding, and effective classroom management.

We would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to the resource persons, Mr. Pushpendra Rana and Ms. Suman, for their expertise, guidance, and dedication throughout the training.

We are also deeply grateful to our honourable Principal Sir, Mr. Gurpreet Singh and Vice Principal Mam Ms. Priyanka Arora, for their unwavering support and encouragement. Their leadership and commitment to professional development have been phenomenal in organizing and facilitating this transformative training initiative.

Mothers are the most beautiful creation of God. On this Mother’s Day, the students of The Wisdom School made it extra special by writing letters to their moms to express their gratitude for everything she does for them.It was really astounding to witness our students writing their priceless feelings. Everyone was so much enthusiastic while doing this activity for the first time.It wasn’t just an activity rather each word written in the letter was dipped in emotions and decorous feelings of children for their mothers.We hope this small act of love surely brings smile and happiness on the faces of the mothers.

Storytelling is the most powerful way to put ideas into the world today. A good story telling session can do wonders to a child’s imagination and can really work at enhancing his expression.

On Tuesday, 7th May 2024, a fascinating session was organized by The Wisdom School for the students of Grade 3rd to 8th. For the session our resource person was Mr. Anjan Ganguly Sir,who is a professional trainer and is certified in Six Sigma and Synthetic Phonics. The creativity and artistry among the tiny tots were nurtured. It was an interactive session where the young souls were encouraged for creative thinking.

Even the session also emphasized how the stories are a wonderful way to spark imagination and curiosity, improve language skills, build empathy, promotes brain development, develops vocabulary and emotions, and strengthens communication skills.👍✨🌟

The Investiture Ceremony at The Wisdom School, Sirsa, began with a heart-warming welcome song. The melodious notes and uplifting lyrics echoed throughout the school campus, welcoming the newly appointed leaders and ignited a spirit of camaraderie among all.
The ceremony proceeded with the official announcements of the student leaders elected to key positions. With each announcement, the school community erupted in applause, celebrating the accomplishments and potential of our newly appointed Head Boy, Head Girl, Deputy Head Boy, Deputy Head Girl, House Captains, and Vice House Captains. The newly elected student leaders were adorned with sashes and badges symbolising their roles and responsibilities. Thereafter all the leaders solemnly recited their oath, symbolizing their commitment to serve their peers and upholding the values of school community.
The captivating dance performances mesmerized everyone, showcasing the talent and creativity of our students.
The Investiture Ceremony reached its pinnacle with an inspiring address by our honourable Principal Sir, Mr. Gurpreet Singh.He praised the elected leaders for their dedication and encouraged them to embrace their roles with integrity, empathy, and resilience.

On World Athletic Day, we celebrate the spirit of athleticism that drives us to move, to push our limits, and to embrace the joy of physical activity. It's a reminder that no matter our pace or ability, every step we take towards fitness and well-being matters.

The voting process served as a cornerstone of democratic process at The Wisdom School, Sirsa, allowing students to cast their votes for the candidates they believed would best represent their interests and aspirations.

Following the conclusion of the voting period, votes were meticulously counted by impartial admin members to ensure transparency and accuracy. Each vote was carefully tallied, and the results were recorded with utmost diligence.

Now, students, faculty, and staff eagerly await the opportunity to witness the formal recognition of elected leaders and celebrate their dedication to serve the student body.

Good handwriting beyond its aesthetic appeal, it also fosters legibility and fine motor skills. On 27th April 2024, English Handwriting and Hindi Handwriting Competition were organised for the students of Grade 3 and Grade 4 .The students enthusiastically participated in the competition, where each entry meticulously judged on parameters such as letter formation, spacing and overall presentation. This competition provided an invaluable platform to our students to refine their handwriting skills and gain a deeper appreciation for the art of penmanship. The winners were rewarded today in the morning assembly with Appreciation Certificates.
