امر با لمعروف اور نہی عن المنکر اسلام کا بنیادی کام ہے اور ہر مسلمان کے لیے اس کی استطاعت کے بقدر فریضۂ الٰہی ہے۔ایسی خبر مل رہی ہے کہ اما م حرم فضیلۃ الشیخ صالح آل طالب کو ان کے ایک خطبہ کی وجہ سے سعودی حکومت کی جانب سے گرفتار کر کے پابہ زنداں کر دیا گیا ہے ، اس خطبہ میں انہوں نے نہی عن المنکر کا تذکرہ کیا تھا اور حکومت کے بعض اقدامات پر نکیر فرمائی تھی ۔اگر امام حرم کی مبینہ گرفتاری کا معاملہ غلط ہے تو فوری طور پر حکومت سعودی عرب کو اس کی تردید کرنی چاہئے تاکہ پوری دنیا کے مسلمانوں کی بے چینی دور ہو ، اور اگر امام حرم کی گرفتاری کا معاملہ صحیح ہے اور اسلام کے اس بنیادی فریضہ کی پاداش میں ان کو پابند سلاسل کیا گیا ہے تو یہ انتہائی افسوس ناک اور شرمناک عمل ہے گرچہ اس خبر کی مکمل تصدیق نہیں ہوئی ہے، پھر بھی دنیا بھر کے مسلمان اس فعل پر افسوس اور بے چینی کا اظہار کرتے ہیں ۔ ان خیالات کا اظہار امیر شریعت بہار ، اڈیشہ وجھارکھنڈ مفکر اسلام حضرت مولانا محمد ولی رحمانی صاحب دامت برکاتہ نے امام حرم شیخ صالح آل طالب کی گرفتاری کی خبر پر اپنے شدید رد عمل کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے کیا۔امیر شریعت نے موجودہ سعودی حکومت کی امریکہ نواز اور مغرب کی تقلید پر آمادہ پالیسیوں کوشدید تنقید کا نشانہ بناتے ہوئے کہا کہ ولی عہد محمد بن سلمان کی سربراہی میں سعودی عرب جس رخ پر جا رہا ہے اور امریکہ نوازی اور مغرب کی تقلید میں جس طرح کے اقدامات کیے جا رہے ہیں اور مغربی روایات قائم کرنے کے اقدامات حکومت سعودی عرب کر رہی ہے، وہ پوری دنیا کے مسلمانوں کے لیے سخت تکلیف دہ ہے ۔خاص طور پر اسرائیل کا نفوذ تیزی کے ساتھ سعودی عرب میں بڑھتا جا رہا ہے ، یہاں تک کہ حکومت سعودی عرب نے حج آپریشن کی بعض ذمہ داریاں اسرائیلی کمپنیوں کے حوالہ کر دی ہیں ، یہ بہت ہی تشویش ناک بات ہے۔ہم امید کرتے ہیں کہ حکومت سعودی عرب ان تمام حالات کا ایماندارانہ جائزہ لے گی اور اپنے فیصلہ پر نظر ثانی کرے گی تاکہ پوری دنیا کے مسلمانوں

Cops thrash police officer’s father in south Kashmir’s Tral

Srinagar: A police officer’s father was allegedly beaten up by cops today in Tral town of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Bashir Ahmad Bhat was on way to his home on his two-wheeler when a posse of cops intercepted him near Hayuna village of Tral around 2:00 pm today, his son Tahir Ahmad told Kashmir Reader.

Ahmad is a sub-inspector in Jammu & Kashmir police and is currently posted in the neighbouring Anantnag district.

The cops at the checkpoint, Ahmad said asked his father to produce documents of his two-wheeler. He said his father provided cops every documents expect the driving license which he had left home.

“The cop abused my father for riding two-wheeler without a license. When my father told him that his son too is a police officer, the cops got further infuriated. They thrashed him and abused me too,” Ahmad said.

He said a senior police officer was watching the events as his subordinates thrashed his father.

“Due to severe beating, my father suffered fracture in right arm. If this is how a police officer’s father is treated, what must be the common masses going through,” he said.

Ahmad said that he went to the police station Tral to file a complaint but the cops there did not pay any heed to his pleas.

“They wasted my time instead of acting against the erring cops. I will bring this issue into the notice of senior officers,” he said.

SP Awantipora, Mohammad Zahid did not attend repeated calls by Kashmir Reader.

When contacted, DIG south Kashmir Amit Kumar told this newspaper that he was busy and he cannot talk at the moment.(KR)

*Father of Hizb commander among eight detained in Pulwama*

Srinagar, Aug 30:::Father of popular militant commander Riyaz Naiko among eight persons were held in separate raids of south Kashmir’s Awantipora and Muran areas, sources said on Thursday.

Riyaz, alias Mohammad Bin Qasim is the chief operations of Hizbul Mujahideen militant outfit.

Sources said that police raided the house of Assadullah Naiko at Beighpora Awantipora in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district and arrested him during last night.

SP Awantipora, Zahid Malik also confirmed the arrest of Assadullah and said that he has been detained for questioning,” SP Zahid said.

Meanwhile, in another separate raid, SOG Pulwama detained seven persons from village Muran.

The detained persons have been identified as Mohd Isahaq Wani (17) son of Mohd Yousuf, 11th class, Irfan Wani (24) son of Abdul Rashid (bread maker), Amir Ahanger (19) son of Abdul Hamid (painter), Mohd Ashraf Mir (32) son of Bashir Ahmad Mir (carpenter), Suhail Tramboo (18) son of Mohd Ahsan, Sameer Sheikh (18) son of Abdul Lateef and Tauseef Shiekh (18) son of Abdul Salam (painter), all persons are the residents of Muran village.
