On 2nd August 2022, a meeting was held between the NIFF headed by Chairman Mr Bashir A Malik & former JKFA members headed by Prof B A Shah at Indoor Sports Complex Polo Ground.
The meeting concluded with formation of Committee of Administrators on certain terms & conditions, where the former JKFA members accepted and agreed about the violations in JKFA Constitution and that it needs to be amended and brought in line with the AIFF Constitution before any elections are held. Despite the agreement it seems that former JKFA members are hellbent upon continuing the violations committed for the lust of power and have published a list for conducting DFA Srinagar Elections which include the Direct Member votes which is a grave violation of the constitution.
If former JKFA members have still not come to their senses, we shall not hesitate to take a legal course of action.

FIFA Suspends All India Football Federation Due To "Undue Influence From Third Parties" | Football News FIFA, the apex football body on Tuesday announced that it has decided to suspend the All India Football Federation (AIFF) with immediate effect

AIFF Committee of Administrators files contempt plea in Supreme Court against Praful Patel, state body members It is alleged that former AIFF President Patel abused his position as FIFA council member to orchestrate a campaign among state associations to undermine court-mandated reforms.

Even ALL INDIA FOOTBALL FEDERATION has acknowledged that there is no football body in J&K !!
This is very shameful for the football fraternity of J&K.
Some shameless people still sending their names as JKFA representative, outrightly rejected by AIFF, thus loosing it's right to vote in AIFF.

Kindly note that No DFA registered under JKFA is authorized to conduct any tournament till elections are conducted. Any former DFA body conducting any tournament shall be doing so in contempt of Honorable Court's order.

'Biryani Scam' unearthed by ACB in Kashmir. $54,000 fraud by ex-football association office bearers The lid on the corruption saga was removed when a complaint was registered by a local Kashmiri man named Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat of Sopore. Mushtaq alleged that funds allotted for football activities across J&K were misused. 

On 2nd August 2022 a meeting was held between NIFF Core Body Members & Former JKFA members in Indoor Sports Complex Polo Ground Srinagar along with football promoters.
Both the parties reached a consensus to form Committee of Administrators (CoA).
The main role of this CoA shall be:
1. To streamline the JKFA Constitution in line with the AIFF Constitution and remove all violations in the Constitution.
2. To run daily activities of JKFA including resuming the Leagues & tournaments across J&K.
3. To conduct JKFA Elections as per the Constitution, which includes conducting the DFA elections first.
It was also decided to move the office of JKFA to it's official address of Polo Ground West immediately.
Prof B A Shah, General Secretary shall head the CoA. The names of the CoA shall soon be announced.

Basically this post is to educate our youth about filing RTI to get bank details of any Development Officer in any department / Division.
This case clearly states that ' The Commission noted that the appellant is seeking information about the Bank Account of a Scheme under which money is provided for Child Welfare and other such welfare schemes. Observing that Section 4(1)(b) of the RTI Act expects information of all concessions and subsidies to be made public suo-moto, the Commission ruled that disclosing the information sought by the appellant would serve the larger public interest. Therefore, the Commission ruled that as per Section 8(2) of the RTI Act there is a larger public interest in disclosure of the Accounts Statement since this is government money which is supposed to be channelized only for welfare schemes. It is important that citizens have complete details of such accounts so that it can act as a curb on arbitrariness and corruption.'

LETS START THEN !!

As per the order of the Honorable Court, all the tournaments organized under the Aegis of DFA Srinagar should be immediately stopped. The Honorable Court has refused to recognize DFA Srinagar as a competent body to authorize or organize any tournament till it's elections are held. Any tournament being organized under aegis of DFA Srinagar shall be Contempt of Court.

On conclusion of today's 'Illegal' DFA A Division match, the real stake holders of football in J&K, the Club owners, National & International Players and Football Promoters entered the turf and congratulated both the teams and ensured them that the football activities shall not be hampered in any way and soon they shall announce tournaments for our youth to participate.
The football revolution has started in Srinagar and seems entire J&K shall soon join in revolutionizing the football and new democratically elected body shall soon be placed to run the affairs of Football once again.

Seems the first ACB FIR was just the tip of the iceberg!!!

JKFA embezzles funds worth over Rs 45 lakh by producing fake bills; ACB registers FIR Srinagar: J&K Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) has filed an FIR against the J&K Football Association (JKFA) officials for misappropriation of funds received from the Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council.

Let's shed light on the some things today !!!!!

1. ELECTIONS:
JKFA Constitution says before JKFA Central Body Elections are conducted, DFAs should conduct their elections if due. In case DFAs fail to conduct elections, all their Associate Member votes will be nullified.
If so, who will vote in the JKFA Central Body Elections ?

2. STAY ON DFA SRINAGAR LEAGUE:
As we all are aware that the tenure of JKFA & DFA Srinagar is already over, then who is organizing the Annual DFA League ? Who are we paying our hard earned money to ? With financial allegations on the former body, are we ready to handover our hard earned money to them ?
If it is a privately organized tournament then there is no problem. But if it is being organized under the banner of DFA or JKFA then it is total violation of JKFA Constitution & the court orders as well since the DFA has ceased to exist on 27th April 2022 & JKFA on 12th May 2022.

3. 5:1 CONGRESS VOTE:
We as clubs and associate members of JKFA have a right to exercise our individual vote in DFA & JKFA elections; whereas JKFA disempowers our right and merge it with other 4 clubs to make 1 vote which, which they have modified in the JKFA Constitution to benefit themselves.

4. DIRECT MEMBER VOTE:
The National Sports Code & AIFF Constitution clearly states that no individual member shall be granted a right to Vote. This single Direct Member Vote equals to 5 Associate Members Vote in the JKFA Elections. Guess who all are the Direct Members ??

If today we continue supporting these wrongs, we shall never be honest to football. We shall never see the boom of players like Mehraj, Ishfaq, Danish in the future.

It is you who has to decide who is wrong and who is right. The choice is in your hands.

If the tenure of the former body is over, who will sign the cheques ? Who will approve the expenditures ?

We request JKSC to appoint an Adhoc body to run the daily affairs and activities of football.
