Department of Textile Engineering JNGEC Himachal Pradesh

The department of Textile Engineering, JNGEC Sundernagar is pleased to share that four students of the department got placed in leading MNC Reliance Industries Limited, Mumbai as “Polyester Graduate Engineering Trainee” with CTC of 6.0 lakh per annum. The selected student will also be entitled for one-time bonus of Rs. 2.00 lacs on completion of 12 months training along with Medical Allowance & Insurance. The names of selected students are as follows:
1) Mr Ritish Rana
2) Mr Arpit Sandal
3) Miss Sagun
4) Mr Chirag Thakur

Textile Engineering Department organized a Webinar on "BIOMATERIALS IN MEDICAL
APPLICATION" conducted on 29th May 2021. In this technical session, resource person Dr. Radhika Vaid, Sr. Engineer, Edwards Life Sciences United States spoke on various use of textile material in medical field. She also explained various opportunity for textile graduates. At the end of the technical session, Faculty members and students interacted with speaker.
Dr. Radhika Vaid is alumni of JNGEC. After her B. Tech she completed her M. Tech from IIT Delhi and Ph.D from North Carolina University USA.
