This weekend abode, located on the outskirts of Navsari, was conceived as space not just for relaxation, but also social events and function for the residence in residing. The design takes care of leisure for the family while also suiting the family’s lifestyle.

Schools play critical part in shaping the lives of children. The spaces were designed keeping in the the quality of space that facilitates the nurturing of young minds. The interiors are kept light in color, and are wide breathing spaces.

The building has voids to establish visual connection and better ventilation.
The classes have openings on two sides to have light filled rooms. The corridors are more like skybridges.
The school has more open spaces and to create a breathable and playful environment.

For a residence to be alive, ‘Ujas’ (luminance) becomes an important aspect for the quality of space. Since the site is narrow and locked between two buildings, the light is brought in from the top.

This also brings ventilation in a humid context, and the large open volumes make the space visible as more breathable.

The site is a corner plot that has a façade which provides privacy in the residence with louvers and extended wall elevation. These enclose the built form and gives a touch of uniqueness to the house. The use of natural stone for exterior cladding enhances an element of luxury as well!

Ventilation being actively in demand, this residence in Vyara, Gujarat, is sandwiched in the typical 'Gala' housing vicinity. Therefore, two sides of the house had no scope for openings. We came up with an interesting solution, where we added a central courtyard at the heart of the house that not only made it naturally lit but also made the structure porous adding a lot of ventilation to the interior spaces.

Residence Nikunj is designed to highlight the natural materials in their exposed state through the builtform. The house has been designed with the prior concern of providing improved air quality through natural materials which do not have any applied VOC which enhances indoor environment air quality.

Project ‘Chhaya’ has derived its name from its built form which is motivated by the weather protection it provides. The extended slabs and walls, the doubled wall massing, and deep-seated windows, all contribute to the thermal comfort of the residence.
To maintain the connectivity with the landscape, the gardens have been elevated, which adds to the beauty of the residence as well as keeping the spaces cool.

As the name suggests, 'Sukriti' is a composition of various cubical volumes as well as a variety of materials incorporated in the exterior facade- creating a beautiful harmony altogether! A double heighted dining area keeps it naturally lit throughout the day. Moreover the volume play at different levels creates open pockets and allows a connect with the nature.

Project ‘Nilaya’, incorporates balconies and terraces to bring in the green into the house, as the site is very compact. The front elevation of the house is a composition of rectangular frames softened by plantation on the edges. Spatial planning of the house involves including a double heighted space at the centre to ensure good amount of natural light entering the house, making it even more connected to the nature.

The top floor of the residence consists of a TV Lounge and a miniature bar area with an open terrace garden for social gatherings that otherwise lacks in a compact site area. Smooth vertical circulation is provided due to its multi-level design.

The plot faces the river on its narrow side and the scheme had to be economical 3 to 4BHK apartments. Therefore, priority was given to the Living Area with bigger openings. Since only two towers could face the river, the COP was kept on the inner end. The amenities became extremely crucial and a water body was provided in the landscape to enhance the resident's experience. In order to overcome the heat island effect, the entrance is covered in dense foliage to provide comfort, climatically.

Ananta, a 3BHK apartment building scheme in the city of Surat, is designed to give comfort to the inhabitants giving a huge parking area- that is usually given the least priority these days. For safety and security of the children and elderly, the COP is provided in the central spine so that they do not have to cross a vehicular pathway to access the same.

Providing a connect with the surroundings and nature, this apartment building incorporates balconies on its four edges with a flower bed, allowing breathability and luxury at the same time. Along with that, the built mass is such that it seamlessly merges with the weather projections also taking care of the thermal comfort with the double walls.

Located at an upcoming urban context in the city of Surat, Surbhi Textiles is a renowned textile mill that consists of offices at all floor levels with a canteen and dining space on the terrace floor level. The elevation has been designed with exposed concrete panels and louvres to bring in natural light as well as adding a glow at night with the artificial lighting passing through it.

Shivam Heights located in the city of Surat, Gujarat, is an ongoing site that is designed in a way that even though it is a close-knit community space, the residents also enjoys their own personal space. These 4BHK apartments have spacious interiors and at the same time we have provided wide passages helping the community have a comfortable social interaction. There are two apartments per floor, consisting of three open sides as well as a beautiful river- view.
