The Tawang District Police has released a statement on its social media handle revealing the names of the drug dealers apprehended on the 3rd of August 2022. It states that a case was registered with No. 13/22 U/S 21(a)/27 under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act against three persons namely Sangey Wangchu, Village Bomdir, Lobsang, Village, Kitpi, Godu Tamang, Village Khrimu. It further stated that it has successfully nabbed the main drugs supplier Babul Ali, a resident of Village Kekukoli, Charduar of Assam and recovered 4 grams of suspected Brown Sugar, 28 empty vials, a motor cycle and a mobile phone. Meanwhile, the President, All Monpa Students Union, had written to the department to reveal the names of persons apprehended on 3rd August for general awareness of the public. The district police stated that names were concealed so as to reach the main drug supplier from Assam.

GREF labourers at 125 RCC Nagula facing hard time through this incessant rainy season.
Although every year BRO issues rain coat to the GREF labourers during rainy season, but unfortunately till now the 125 RCC Nagula has not provided rain coat to the labourers who are working in such harsh and high altitude, fully drenched in rain. And to their worst, even if the labourers take leave for one day due to some emergency, the authority deduct the payment of two days.
The GREF abourers of 125 RCC Nagula are going through a very pathetic and difficult condition. I request the concerned high authorities to look into this matter seriously at the earliest and help the poor labourers.
