Pre-Primary Section - Celebration of Diwali

Educational excursions are a vital part of a students' academic journey, offering a chance to apply classroom knowledge to real-world experiences. One such remarkable expedition was our visit to Keshav Srushti for students of Std I to V on 8th November and for Std VI to X on 9th November, 2023. A sprawling eco-park nestled on the outskirts of our city.

This educational outing was not just a break from our usual routine; it was an enlightening adventure into the realm of biodiversity conservation and environmental awareness.

It's a wonderful place spread on hundreds of acres of land where students explored new culture and environment.

Students' energy, enthusiasm and eagerness was constant throughout the tour as they spent the day with peers, shared enjoyable moments and were engaged in hands on activities such as -
Dried Flower Compost, Mobile Bug Motel, Bird Bathing Spa, Vermi Compost, Bird Feeder.

All these activities enhanced their social skills, boosted self confidence and created life long memories.

DIWALI is one of the biggest festival celebrated in India which is known as Festival of Lights, symbolizing Good over Evil. Students of primary section made colourful articles like Swastik,Kalash ...Diya painting.Also ,students of secondary implemented creative ideas by preparing beautiful articles like
STD VIII students prepared crape paper rangoli and decorated diyas in the most creative way.
STD IX students prepared in a unique way, Diwali Snacks Thali and Pooja Thali using eco-friendly materials and clay.
STD X students prepared beautiful and colorful lanterns.
Students represented joy and harmony through group activities which was the main objective of the activity .

Today a seminar was conducted by Seema Ingale Director of 'Streebal Foundation' Yog Guru and Management Guru for the students of Std VIII- X on Yoga for stress free life and to increase concentration.
Along with this session , Streebal Foundation sponsored and donated Sanitary Napkins vending machine for students .It was inaugurated and installed by the guest and headmistress Mrs. Harshada Pradhan.
Director of Streebal Foundation Mrs.Seema Ingale appreciated the school and efforts taken by respected Headmistress Harshada Pradhan for all round development of students.

On Monday, 23rd October, 2023 SMM High School Cadet Corps investiture took place in the presence of School President Shri. Sudhakar More sir, Headmistresses of all the sections and Chief guest Mr.Santosh Salunke a Science student with diploma, best NCC Cadet Corp, worked for 18 years in defence, also he was a part of Delhi parade, after retirement he had joined Mumbai Police ATS.
Event began with March past continuing with the felicitation of Chief guest.
Headmistress of Primary Section Mrs.Anjali Sonar, administered the oath to the newly elected council members. Students pledged to bring glory to their school and ensure that all duties towards the school shall be done sincerely. She wished all the students good luck and urged them to take up the responsibility with commitment and integrity.
To help the students feel a sense of responsibility and keeping with the tradition of the institution, elected student - leaders were invested with the duties of captains of different activities and houses. It was a day imbued with a sense of pride, humility and leadership. On behalf of all the cadets -
School captain Miss.Swara Pawar presented her views. Mr.Santosh Salunke sir guided students with his motivational and inspiring words. Our school President Shri.More sir shared his views. Last but not the least Vote of thanks was presented by Mast.Anay Joglekar continuing with capturing the memories by clicking photos.

Navratri is a festival of 9 nights and 10 days which brings Navrang (nine colours) to our lives. Goddess Navdurga is worshipped with great devotion and all the nine nights are celebrated with Raas garba and Dandiya Raas.
On these auspicious days of Navratri and upcoming Diwali festival we see markets loaded with lot of home decor articles.Most satisfactory feeling is when these are made by us....This year students of Std 1st to 7th grabbed this golden opportunity and with lot of excitement and enthusiasm prepared different articles to deck up our school and home. This experience will definitely help our students to develop their creativity which is an important skill throughout their lives, as creativity focuses on the process of forming new ideas through exploring, discovering and imaging.

Each year an incarnation of Goddess Durga is worshipped to celebrate the day after victory over Mahishasura and the ultimate victory of 'Good over Evil'. To create awareness and to celebrate manifestation of Women Empowerment in different ways. An Elocution competition on topic "Female Role Model in my Life" .Chart presentation on the topic 'First woman in different fields" and "Nine Avatars of Navdurga". The
participants presented how their life is inspired by their role model through Elocution.
Participants presented chart and shared the contribution of the first female for the progress our country in an informative and appealing way.

On Friday 19th October 2023, Shree Mavli Mandal High School,relaunched school website with new added features which is be more informative,interactive and mobile responsive .
As a chief guest Mr.Sanjay Gajaria who designed the website , Chairman Mr. Sudhakar More, Treasurer of Trust Mr. Dinesh More, Headmistresses of all Sections , PTA Members, Teaching and Non Teaching Staff and STD X students were present.
Chairman Mr. Sudhakar More inaugurated and relaunched the Website.
Dinesh More sir shared glimpses and shared his views on how website will connect all of us and help to share our students success , achievements and activities which are initiated for students development to everyone.

Pre-Primary Section – Annual Social Gathering
The Annual Social Gathering of Shree Mavli Mandal High School for pre-primary section was held on 13th October 2023. The students presented a delightful program. All students were decked up in colourful costumes and got a chance to display their talents in front of a big audience. They performed different activities such as singing, dancing and drama. The innocence of the little ones reflected through their acts. The event concluded with a vote of thanks and by singing our National Anthem. Audience certainly enjoyed the Program...

Former President, Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam's birth anniversary is observed as 'Vaachan Prerna Din' (Reading Inspiration Day) across Maharashtra, every year and World Students Day on 15th October.
"Reading” is a catalyst for critical thinking. It challenges us to analyze, interpret, and reflect upon the world in a different and unique way. Beyond this, reading boosts our empathy as we connect with characters and their circumstances.
Activities were conducted for Std I to X related to reading.
Std I & II Students presented stories on 'Birds and Animals'.
Std III &IV ' Read and presented the stories they read.
Std V 'Presented information about Space'
Std VI to X - Synopsis on Biography of their ideal personality .'
Amongst 40 participants 7 students reached the final round . Synopsis presentation of selected participants from Std VI to X was conducted in the presence of esteemed judge and Member of Trust Mr Santosh Surve alongwith our teachers.
Best three were presented with vouchers for book as a token of appreciation.

The main motto of these activities was to develop habit, motivate students to read more and embrace the joy of exploring a book and witness how it can light up our minds and lives.

DSO 'Atya Patya' tournament took place on 8th October 2023. Around 40 schools participated in the event held at 'Sachin Tendulkar stadium,Thane'.
Our players were anxious to play and grabbed the places with flying colours.

Their victory not only brings glory to the school but also inspires their peers and underlines the significance of sports in shaping young minds.

2nd October is the birth anniversary of two legends Lal Bahadur Shastriji and Mahatma Gandhiji.

Gandhiji preached 'Cleanliness is next to godliness'. Cleanliness gives rise to a good character by keeping body, mind and soul clean and peaceful. Maintaining cleanliness is the essential part of healthy living.

On this occasion the entire nation participated in 'Swachhata Pakhwada' - a cleanliness drive.

As a part of this drive, the entire staff of SMM high school along with students joined their hands and cleaned the school premises, corridors, classrooms and display boards. Moreover ,everyone participated actively and enthusiastically joined for this good cause.
