5 th June 2021...World environment day!
Will remember this day forever as it is the first time that TOGS (Thane OBGY)society under my Presidency has won the first national award at the All India FOGSI COMPETITION for the maximum number of trees planted by any society in the last one year.An OBGY,environmentalist and an organic farmer could not ask for more.

Happy to share that I got installed as the President of the Thane Obstetrics and Gynaecological Society on the 25th of April 2021.It has been a remarkable journey so far, and as I celebrate my birthday tomorrow,I am eager to see what unfolds in the coming year.
Another chapter in my life begins and as I embark on this unpredictable journey replete with challenges and opportunities both, amidst unprecedented circumstances, I hope I shall pass the test of these times and emerge stronger,taking my organization to greater success and glory.I seek the blessings of my seniors, friends and family and hope to live upto the expectations and do All proud.🙏

Today marks a huge milestone in my journey as I take on the position of PRESIDENT TOGS(Thane obstetrics and gynaecological society)
"Teen Deviyaan"as we are being called, namely Dr Rekha Thote, secretary general of TOGS, Dr Supriya Arwari, Treasurer TOGS and myself...are The core team members who will take on this daunting task of steering our Organisation to glory amidst the Covid pandemic with tremendous zest and drive.
As the new Chapter unfolds, I feel both motivated and enthusiastic to work on innovative ideas to make our Academic activities interesting and informative while keeping everyone guessing about the colorful cultural events in store this year.
It promises to be an exhilarating year full of fun and surprises.Stay tuned for updates!

Today,1st of April 2021, as I take on the mantle of President of the Thane Obstetrics and Gynecological Society (TOGS) under unprecedented circumstances, amidst the Covid pandemic, which we all are facing with tremendous resilience and strength, I believe in achieving the goals I set for myself with determination and dedication.

Hopefully, the universe conspires in helping me achieve them.
I promise to deliver my best and live up to all expectations with utmost sincerity.

I seek the blessings of my seniors, colleagues, friends, and family and solicit your full support in my future endeavours to bring TOGS to the glory and honour it deserves.

The answer: It may. It's not just about the medicine itself - depending on the pill, it may have ingredients in it that need to be stored a certain way. So, to be as careful as possible with your contraception 👇

✅ Follow the storage instructions for your particular pill, which will be inside the leaflet that comes with your pack.

✅ Typically, pills should be stored at room temperature, away from moisture and heat.

✅ If possible, keep them in their original packaging so that they’re as protected as possible.

✅ If you have questions, always ask your doctor or pharmacist.

Post-menopausal women may be more likely to get severely ill with coronavirus, according to research.

Researchers from King's College London say their findings suggest high levels of oestrogen protect against Covid-19.

They analysed data from almost 600,000 women in the UK who use the COVID Symptom Study app. People who have the app report how they feel every day, including if they develop symptoms of the coronavirus or get a test result.

Results showed post-menopausal women were 22% more likely to report symptoms of Covid-19 than women who still had periods. They were also more likely to be hospitalized and need respiratory support — an indication of severe Covid-19.

The findings suggest HRT — drugs which contain artificial oestrogen to help relieve symptoms of the menopause, such as hot flushes — may boost the immune system.

Data showed HRT appeared to lessen the severity of Covid-19 in post-menopausal women because they were less likely to need hospital care.

Younger women on the combined contraceptive pill, which contains oestrogen, also had lower rates of Covid-19 symptoms than women who did not.
