Ind Aussies 4th Test:

Smith won the toss and elected to bat. Rohit will be happy in losing the toss as he need not decide what to do, to bat or bowl first.

So far in all the three test, the side who won the toss had lost. In that respect Team India got a head start.

Team India to score 160 to win. Considering the state of wicket ( assissting pace bowlers ), Pak having 3 real fast bowlers and the big size of the ground not an easy task. But definitely achievable.

But then Team India batters has to run hard to take singles, twos and threes.

At 10 overs Pak at 60 /2. Slightly less than what they had planned for. But had recovered reasonably after a very slow start of 32 / 2 in power play overs.

BUT India beware. They are taking too much time to finish overs. 60 minutes for first.10 overs, eve though considering 2 injury time taken by Pak batsmen. Team India will land in field restrictions in last 2 - 3 overs.

Team India wins the IInd ODI against Zimbabwae and clinch the series.

But Ishan Kishan disappoints with the way he got out. This is the nth time in the last 4 -5 months that he got bowled on balls outside the off stump by playing with out moving his back foot. Wonder why coaches like Dravid, Laxman, Mahela Jayawardhana etc not able to correct the flaw.

വർഷങ്ങൾക്കു മുൻപ് ഇലന്തൂർ ബ്രാഞ്ച് സന്ദർശന വേളയിൽ ആണ് ഷാജിസാറിനെ ആദ്യമായി കാണുന്നതും പരിചയപ്പെടുന്നതും. അന്ന് അദ്ദേഹം കാണിച്ച ലാളിത്യവും മനുഷ്യസ്നേഹവും ബാങ്കിംഗ് തൊഴിലാളി പ്രസ്ഥാനത്തിന്റെ സമുന്നത നേതൃ സ്ഥാനത്തെത്തിയിട്ടും ഒട്ടും ചോർന്നു പോയിട്ടില്ല. സത്യത്തിൽ ഒരു അനാഥത്വം എനിക്ക് അനുഭവപ്പെടുന്നു എന്ന് പറയുന്നതിൽ
ഒട്ടും സങ്കോചം തോന്നുന്നില്ല.
മഹാപ്രളയ കാലത്തു എനിക്ക് വന്ന രണ്ടു അന്തർ സംസ്ഥാന ട്രാൻസ്ഫർ ക്യാൻസൽ ചെയ്തു തന്നത് അദ്ദേഹം ആയിരുന്നു.
ആയതിനു ഞാനും എന്റെ കുടുംബവും എന്നും നന്ദിയുള്ളവരും കടപ്പെട്ടവരും ആയിരിക്കും. അദ്ദേഹം വിരമിക്കുമ്പോൾ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ പ്രവർത്തനമണ്ഡലത്തിൽ ഉണ്ടാകുന്ന ശൂന്യത
എങ്ങനെ പരിഹരിക്കപ്പെടുമെന്ന് അറിയില്ല.
ഷാജിസാർ എന്നും തൊഴിലാളികൾക്കൊപ്പം നിന്ന നേതാവായിരുന്നു. അദ്ദേഹം ജനകീയനും ജനസമ്മതനുമായിരുന്നു.
സമരരംഗത്തു നിൽകുമ്പോൾ അദ്ദേഹം വിശ്വരൂപമെടുത്തു. വിമർശിക്കാൻ അദ്ദേഹം ഒരു മടിയും കാണിച്ചില്ല.
ധനലക്ഷ്മി ബാങ്ക് സമരത്തിൽ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ പോരാട്ടവീര്യം നാം അനുഭവിച്ചറിഞ്ഞു.
ഷാജിസാറിന്റെ പ്രസംഗങ്ങൾ എപ്പോഴും ആകർഷകം ആയിരുന്നു. ചില sentence കളുടെ അവസാനം അവ ആവർത്തിക്കപ്പെടുന്നത് മനോഹരമായിരുന്നു.
അദ്ദേഹത്തിനുള്ള സമർപ്പണം അദ്ദേഹം തെളിച്ച വഴിയിലൂടെ മുന്നേറുക എന്നുള്ളതാണ്
ഷാജി സാറിനും കുടുംബത്തും ഹൃദയത്തിൽ നിന്നും എല്ലാ ഭാവുകങ്ങളും നേരുന്നു.

it's always painful to bid farewell when a Great Leader is superannuating. A Comrade vibrant , committed and dedicated Trade Unionist. Comrade Shaji's retirement will definitely create a huge vacuum in IOBOA and also IOB, not to forget his contributions to AIBOC In Kerala State. wherever he moves hectares a team of dedicated comrades along with mentoring them as future leaders. He is a role model for many youngsters as well as seniors. I am fortunate enough to part of the ECM along with him since 2011, which I'll always cherish. we enjoyed his deliberations and approach towards the welfare of the comrades. Of course I admired and learnt a lot from him which helped me in my Zone. He had a very good rapport with all including top executives which helped IOBOA in negotiations. he is also very good in Defense and would have saved lots of comrades including senior executives from harsh punishment. On his superannuation I wish him a very happy healthy and active Retired Life.
His contributions to all including Mother IOB, IOBOA & AIBOC are enormous.
As we say "Someone's Loss is Someone Gain" IOBOA loss will make ARISE richer..
