Jageshwar
Jageshwar is a Hindu pilgrimage town near Almora in Almora district of the Himalayan Indian state of Uttarakhand. It is one of the Dhams (pilgrimage region) in the Shaivism tradition. The site is protected under Indian laws, and managed by the Archaeological Survey of India
Jageshwar Valley Temples, are a group of 125 ancient Hindu temples dated between 7th and 14th century.
The origins of the Jageshwar temples site are unclear. Its remote location has limited its studies and scholarly attention. The site shows evidence of different architectural styles and building periods for both temples and stone steles, which range from the 7th to the 12th century, and then in the modern times.

The 2,500 years old Architectural Marvel❗

Madurai Meenakshi Amman Temple, Tamilnadu, BHARAT (India) 🚩
Madurai Meenakshi Amman temple.
The 2,500 years old architectural marvel, Meenakshi Amman temple is located in the heart of historic city Madurai which is spread over about 14 acres.
This temple has historic roots dating back to 2000 B.C. and it has been in use for almost all of its history except for about 60 years when it was closed and in ruins after it's destruction in the 14th century.
9 reasons why the Brihadeeswara Temple in Tamil Nadu, is one of the greatest structures ever built.
1. The Mandir is built using the interlock method where no cement, plaster or adhesive was used between the stones. It has survived 1000 years and 6 earthquakes.
2. The Mandir tower at 216 feet was likely the tallest in the world at the time.
3. The other structures built using this method Big Ben and Leaning Tower of Pisa are tilting with time. The Mandir which is far older has zero degree inclination.
4. 130,000 tons of granite was used to build the Mandir which was transported by 3000 elephants from 60 kms away
5. The Mandir was constructed without digging the earth. There was no foundation dug for the Mandir!
6. The Kumbham at the top of the Mandir tower weighs 80 tons and is monolithic. Yes monolithic! Craved from a single stone
7. Several theories exist as to how the 80 ton stone piece got atop the 200+ feet tower. Some suggest the use of levitation technology, but the more plausible explaination seems to be the use of elephants to pull the stone piece across a nearly 6 km long ramp.
8. It is said that several underground passages exist below the Mandir, most of whichwere sealed off centuries ago. It is said that these underground passages were safety traps and exit points for the Cholas. Some souces put the count of these passages to 100
9. The Mandir is so remarkable that some people go the the extent of saying that it was built by aliens. There is nothing quite like the Brihadeeswara Mandir and there will never be something quite like it. Raja Raja Chola was a visionary. We must treasure this timeless marvel.

Whenever I hear or read about Rām Setu, a different kind of thrill runs through my body. I wonder, after listening many great love stories of the world, what could be the greatest thing a lover can do for his/her partner? Build a freaking bridge over an ocean?!
•
Such was the love of Prabhu Shri Ram for Mā Sita, which no ocean, no ten headed Rāvan, no million strength armies was able to bound.
•
I certainly believe that if there is any true monument of love, then it is Ram Setu. ❤️
•
Jai Shri Ram!

Chaturbhuja
Chaturbhuja (four-armed') is a concept in Hindu iconography in which a deity is depicted with four arms. Several Hindu deities are often portrayed with four arms in their iconography, featured in Hindu literature. The iconography of four arms is regarded to symbolise divinity and power, as well as dominion over the four quarters of the universe.
The earliest Vaishnava images, according to scholar Gavin Flood, are of a standing two or four-armed figure bearing a combination of the attributes of a conch, a wheel, and a mace in their iconography. This multiplicity convention, in which deities bore numerous limbs and heads in their imagery, was established in the Mathura region, before becoming a custom in later Hindu iconography.
Vishnu is generally depicted with four arms, carrying his four attributes of the Panchajanya (conch), Sudarshana Chakra (discus), Kaumodaki (mace), and Padma (lotus). His ten incarnations are also often depicted in their icons with these four attributes, most prominently in his avatar of Krishna.
Lakshmi carries lotuses in two of her hands, the other two expressing the gestures of the abhaya mudra and the varada mudra, sometimes replaced by a kalasha and a mirror.
Shiva is depicted with four hands in his form of Nataraja. His back right hand holds a damaru (drum), his front right hand expresses the abhaya mudra, the back left hand carries fire upon a vessel or the palm of his hand, and his front left hand expresses the gajahasta mudra. This allegorical depiction of his multiple arms is regarded to indicate his functions of creation and destruction.
Parvati is described as four-handed, holding a noose and a goad, and the other two hands portraying the abhaya mudra and the varada mudra in the Shiva Purana.
Ardhanarishvara, a composite form, holds a trishula (trident) and expresses the varada mudra on the right half, representing Shiva, while the left half holds a lotus, representing Parvati.
Harihara, a composite form, holds a trishula and skull-cap in his two right hands, representing Shiva, and a conch and a discus in his two left hands, representing Vishnu.
Brahma is depicted to be holding the Vedas and a rosary in his four hands.
Saraswati is portrayed as holding the instrument known as the veena with two of her hands, and an assortment of a book, a noose, a rosary, an elephant goad, and a lotus in her other two hands.
Ganesha bears a noose, an elephant goad, a sweet dumpling called the modaka, and his other hand portrays the abhaya mudra.
Indra is portrayed with a spear, a goad, the Vajra, and a blue lotus.
Agni is featured with four hands in the Harivamsha.
Tripura Sundari is described with four hands in the Kalika Purana.
